So, my credit card timed out a couple of years ago and I’ve been unable to attach another credit card to my accounts.
The old site sends you to the new site, the new site can’t add a card…! WTF???
Do they not want my money?
How do I add a credit card to my accounts please?
I found another post that had a link, but it was for AoC, not AO.
I got zero answers from my petitions and such at the time, but I’m giving it another go.
I’d really like to get back ingame!
Try logging into your account and updating your payment details at this alternate site: Funcom - Registration and Subscription
I know it says Secret World, but I use this to reactivate my AO froob accounts.
The old registration website (https://register.thesecretworld.com/account) has had most of its functionality removed. I would only recommend using this website to manage any accounts that were grandfathered in with Shadowland subscriptions (a sub type that cannot be purchased anymore).
For 99% of Anarchy Online accounts, you should only be using the newer website (https://account.anarchy-online.com/).
You can change your payment method when making a purchase. If you are not being prompted to do so, then please reach out to Customer Support (Funcom Help - Funcom). If your billing issue is urgent, you may send a DM to one of the Game Masters in the Discord.
