Use decaying eldarium. The journey step said to gather decaying eldarium so I just put that and it worked fine.

Ok so just to be clear, we must use decaying eldarium instead of eldarium bars for the delving bench to work?

Correct. Decaying for delving bench, bars for arms and armor.

Delving bench has always required 50 eldarium bars, and has been broken (now uses decaying eldarium) even though the graphic still shows eldarium bars.
Also you cannot craft Drowned Vault armors. Before the last patch all instances of them mysteriously disappeared along with the ability to craft them. Then they âfixedâ it so that the recipe now appears in the armor benches, but says unable to craft item. I posted a bug report.

If you put eldarium bars in dismantling bench at exiles land. It will turn into starmetal.
Also lots of eldarium armors and weapons will return starmetal in dismantling bench. If in exiled land. I think only few tools still return eldarium bars.
Delving bench not working on eldarium bars.
In my opinion is to combat all the glitched eldarium bars in exiled lands.
Eldarium bars in exiled lands on official servers is useless unless, character have recepies from when transfers were enabled.
With so much glitched eldarium bars in exiled lands official servers. Players with siptha recepies could make Delving bench and anyone could get siptha Delving bench recepies with glitched eldarium bars.
Maybe that change to decayed eldarium, has to do something with that

glitched? i did use the delving bench a lot , when it worked with eldariunb you have no idea how many recipes i have given here. on this server., eldariun is quite useful here, and not a glitch for sure.

How you got eldarium bars on official exiled lands?
Transfers been off for years.
Even then. Not many would have been that generous to do siptah vaults, bring eldarium bars to exiled lands and help others get Delving bench recepies.
Exiled land official servers are full of bvs with glitched eldarium bars.

flotsam crates has a small chance to drop scraps⊠i can get 200 or more eldariun bars per week if not more, LEGIT

How? Scrapes if you smelt them in exiled land dont give Eldarium bars anymore. But starmetal.

No they donât. Only the dismantling benches have the script that converts eldarium into starmetal.
