I had a question to see if i can get some help. I logged in this morning around 10 to check status of Thralls. Afterwards, I logged out and proceeded with my work day. Around 9:45pm I logged back in and found out that around 1:25pm, I died of hunger in my base, 40 min later all my bodily goods decayed into nothingness.
I note a decayed item of putrid meat (which i dropped) at 10:40. Then death at 1:08pm.
How does player death happen from hunger while logged out AND if this is a bug… how can I get my stuff back!!! I’m mainly just bummed about my Silent Legion gear
If you are on official, you are out of luck. Funcom doesn’t offer item recovery support. In addition, your body remains in the world after you log out and you can still die or get killed. About the hunger death while offline, I haven’t personally seen it happening but I know there are server settings for offline thirst and hunger, so I assume that it is technically possible.
A good piece of advice is to always log out naked and store your everything in a chest to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Thanks! Its an official so I’ll check on the server settings. I’ve never seen it happen before in my time there, but good advice. Super strange as my event log shows I died from hunger like… 7 times in a row as I re spawned back into my base and repeatedly died.
