Decay buildings bug Exploit Playstation

Hello everybody. For days I have noticed a problem in the decay of structures. In practice, when I approach an abandoned structure to check the timer, it resets and returns to 168 hours as if I were the owner. I contacted Gportal and they said this is a bug and needs to be reported to funcom. Anyone know something more about it? Thank you guys

Is this happening with all buildings? Some further details might be useful:

  • Server name
  • Build locations

I know there is “an exploit” that can cause this, but it would not typically occur across multiple buildings.

Hi thanks for replying. The server is private and it’s mine. EsiliumConanExiles-Italia. It doesn’t happen on all buildings. Some have regular timers while on others what I explained happens. The places where the structures are built are different. ExiledLands map

I tried to reset the decay parameters. I tried to deactivate and reactivate it. Always the same problem. When I approach a facility that is not mine, the timer resets and returns to 168 hours. Thus the abandoned structures will remain on the server. I am tired of all these problems on conan Playstation

Ok I doubt that is a server specific issue, it’s most likely the “exploit” I mentioned earlier. Are you admin on that server?

So any player on the server can reset the timer, and you are certain that you checked the area for the items I mentioned in the message…

I’m not sure if this option is available on PlayStation as I have mainly had private servers on PC, but can you see an option called Building Identify?

@sestus2009 can you help with confirming if that is an option on PlayStation? Also have you ever experienced this?

Typically you report server issues through zendesk but I think this might be better as a bug report

I can’t find this entry in the Gportal administration panel building identify.
I try to create a bug report post in the section you suggested

Ok sorry I couldn’t find a solution.

I am waiting on a few people who have more experience as admin on PlayStation than I do. I will update you here if they get back to me with anything new.

I think you should be able to just move this topic to the bug section.

Someone from @Community should be able to help but they are on vacation so you might be waiting a few days.

There’s no building identify that I have seen . I do have it set to see clan names when you walk up to a build.

I wish Buildings in my server had a decay timer that worked. 8091 does not have building decay. Only thralls and animals decay.

On Siptah I read that building decay is disabled for some problems that need to be fixed. What I have reported in my server is different. The decay is up and running. The problem is that the timer on some buildings is not only reset by the owner, but by everyone.

I went on my server yesterday with my alternate character checking different bases and couldn’t duplicate however I did run into a couple of my primary players buildings I want to decay and they seem to have more time on them than they should wish I had written it down earlier.

I keep monitoring this and have noticed that I keep resetting the timers of some structures. I also had some players do some tests because I thought it was a problem with my character but they also happened to have the timer reset. It happens sometimes and with different constructions. Random. I wrote to gportal again and they told me that many people complain about decay problems but they can’t do anything because it’s a client bug and only funcom can fix. For now I don’t know how to solve.
