So for those of you who don’t know, the Xbox version of this game has been crashing every few minutes for a lot of players. I’m browsing the forums and all I can see from a few days ago is “We know it’s a problem, and we’re looking into it” and then nothing. Does anyone have updated information on the progress for this? Or are we completely in the dark?
Try clearing the cache and unplugging the power cord.
Then when you start go into the singler player and create some 6 strings, then try the online again.
I play on XBOX 2996 and this is normal, I have an XBOX X, but some known with XBOX FAT and S, crashed, then they did it and solved.
Sometimes in the latter case I would have to completely delete the game and download again.
Nope it’s an actual problem on xbox and I too am wondering when the patch is coming. It’s been nearly 2 days and I’ve been 1 of very few who have played though but my server population has been gutted. So far the best trick I’ve found is not restarting or playing solo offline first. It’s accessing your inventory. Try only going into only thralls and tables ect. That seems to stop 99% of the DC issue’s.
Accessing inventory is definitely the leading cause, but the second is accessing thralls inventory, I can only be so careful, as it will inevitably be the thrall inventory that does me in.
Also @AngelBRz thanks for the suggestion, is this a method people tried with conan exiles, or just a general fix? Because my other games work fine, it’s only Conan that crashes.
i cleared my cache and it seemed to help for an hour or so and now i m back to dashboarding, as you say is inventory causing it
I’ve been waiting so long for mounts, now can’t play for more than a few minutes. Love this game but there comes a time when you need to say try it before you sell it!!
Just got this game on Monday and same issue.
Access inventory, crash. Press Start to go to Dashboard basically. As soon as I load a server, crash. Single player, it happened sporadically but often. Online is UNPLAYABLE.
It crashed 5x continuously before I made this post.
It doesn’t matter what player actions cause it, it’s a flaw in the coding. Figure it out and fix it.
Actually it does matter what actions cause it because that’s the only way it can be fixed
Agreed.
Shouldn’t be an issue in the first place.
