After you trasmog armor, can you dye it in the transmog set or is it the set that the original gear is in?
For instance, say I transmog my godbreaker helm (1 dye slot) to appear as a sandstorm mask (4 dye slots). When I apply dye, does it dye under the godbreaker helm ( 1 slot) or as a sandstorm mask (4 slot)?
If it was dyed before the transmog, that one slot (of the four total) will remain dyed and you get the new (four) slots if you try to dye it after the transmog, the one original slot, is also available to be re-dyed.
The only problem I have encountered (which I will make a bug report for) is:
When you have a male character and you want to dye the armor of your female follower (or vise versa), it shows the armor on a male (same as your character). This seems like it’s no big deal at first, except certain armors apear different on male/female characters and have different dye slots.
Example, the War Court Choker only has 1 dye slot for male, but has 3 slots for female.
The War Court Choker offers 3 dye slots for a female.
The bra.
The trim around the bra.
The necklace and arm bands.
The War Court Choker offers only 1 dye slot for a Male.
The necklace and arm bands.
If I play a male character the item dye window only allows me to dye the 1 slot, even if the item is equipped on a female thrall. The only way for me to dye the other two slots was to give it to a female clan member and let her dye it for me.
It’s just a bug that needs to be addressed, not game breaking or anything.
