I’m playing single player and have been trying to change some female thralls hair from the side shaved hairs, I could just get different thralls but I wanted to collect the T4’s…
I’ve tried Fashionist and Emberlight but neither actually saves their changes as far as I can tell… As their back on a reload… Is there a mod that either removes those kind of hairstyles from the female NPCs or a mod that actually saves edited appearances?
Try the Tot!Custom mod bundled with Tot!Sudo
This is the best mod at the moment.
Almost everything can be customized.
Fashionest works for me it’s. I use it to change all my thralls looks and they have all stayed.

@Deamo The shards work for while I’m playing but resets on load… Might have a conflict…
I’ll post my mod list and order when I get home, maybe mod ordering is the issue.
Fashionest
place a shard in thrall inventory or bench inventory for crafters.
Click capture
Changes last even if you remove the fashionest mod.
Tot changes will revert if mod is not installed,
and tot alters the havoc engine of the game,
to make “jiggles” which actually deforms the character sometimes.
Don’t get me wrong ToT is a good mod with the potential to be even better.
But fashionest is a better mod right NOW in my opinion.
Truthfully the only complaints I have with ToT are,
is it’s edits are reapplied every time you load the game, so it’s basically running all the time.
fashionest only runs while you are editing.
And the havoc engine alterations, things stretch to ridiculousness, mobs float more often than vanilla.
Once those two things are fixed I’ll get on that band wagon.
Till then Fashionest is better.
Iv heard all good things about Tot and till this day l just can’t bring my self to use it 
I try my best to avoid large mods as to not get so reliant on them.
I keep my mod list short but A lot of good mods iv found all seem to require other mods.
so even though iv considered it im always gonna stick with Fashionest knowing that at any point if that mod stops working I can still play while waiting for a fix/patch from the mod developer.
Alright, finally home… Will retry Fashionist but here’s my mods and load order anyway if anyone sees any issues…

Why doesn’t Funcom gives us something like that?
With the sheer number of mods that affect cosmetics and appearance in some way there’s bound to be some conflict.
I use just Fashionist, and I’ve had no problems with it. Just to narrow down the list of possibilities - is your issue with Fashionist just the hair changes reverting, or do other changes made to your thralls revert back, too?
It’s everything with Fashionist reverting… However with some experimenting…
Fashionist works for crafter thralls nothing reverts, while ToT works for standing thralls… While it doesn’t fix whatever the conflict is, least I figured out a work around with my current setup…
I assume there’s some load order issue or something…Maybe Fashionist should be lower? But I don’t know. 
Tot and Fashionest are not compatible.
uninstall one or the other.
my guess is ToT is reverting all the changes made by fashionest.
ToT can’t edit bench thralls, it’s probably why those aren’t reverting.
