Anyone know what this is and why it now keeps popping up?
It only appears when i log out to char select screen.
There is never another option, just “OK” and never any text to say what it is i am agreeing is “OK”
Happens when your preferences get too bloated to be synced with the server, usually due to mods.

What it means is that the game can’t sync your pref with the server so you will not have your settings saved if you log in on a different pc, but you can still manually move the pref folder yourself.
P.S. It’s not just about installation, it’s about pref file, if you kept your old one it is still bloated.

Starting the game without a mod installed will typically remove its data from your local preferences.
However, a handful of very common mods (e.g. EffectsUI, BooDecks, Fashionista) contribute more to preferences bloat than many smaller ones. So merely reducing the number of mods used is not always a solution.
That said, it’s not a problem. I’ve been playing the game for years without my main characters having their preferences synced. But I do recommend keeping backups of your %localappdata%\Funcom\SWL\ folder just in case.

Interesting. Is there a way to either hide or at least make the popup non modal? It does get annoying when switching characters.
