You must be out of your minds. Stop putting random prices on bazaar items! This is insane.
Give us an actual reason that these prices are the way they are. You guys should have enough money saved from these prices to buy yourselves back from Tencent.
And that’s the bundle price. Armors are typically 1000 by themselves. And functional placeable pieces (outrageously) priced around 760. So the two banners make up the difference of 1260?
Well you have to buy 2400 coins to purchase that set leaving 286 of wasted coins that in order to get your value out of you would need to buy more coins to match the cost of another item and even then it’s very hard to get your account back to 0 leaving funcom as the winner in the transaction. This tactic is not new at all, welcome to the world of one way exchangeable currency microtransactions.
It is a very pretty set of armour.
This one wants to say that.
This one is almost utterly ambivalent about clan banner flags, which Funcom seems to think are just the bee’s knees. If the clan symbol system were more robust this one might care about things that displayed it, but never to this tune.
The price is completely out of consideration for this one.
Even if it had more useful placeables, it wouldn’t be able to command that number for this one’s purposes.
Perhaps this one will consider the Armour as a stand alone, or preferably as part of a bundle with other Chapter 3 armours.
The important part of the post is that this one does like the armour, but finds the cost almost hilarious and is skipping, not because the outfit is ugly or interesting, but because the digital denarii being demanded is delirium.
Clan Banner neat idea… I remember suggesting it… but more in line with Diablo III. Kill story Boss, get its elbelm, kill 10 get another version. Climb a Peak get this Icon.
Abit sad it got turn in store items… Alot of people wanted it as, Community-Clan progress to show off, or something to do.
Great for PVP, to slap your banner down before a Duel.
If the Clan Symbol system weren’t implemented the way it is, this one might like it.
Each Religion, at highest rank, could give a symbol.
Each learnable faction banner could teach a symbol.
As you mentioned, slaying a major boss or finishing a major Journey Path could award a symbol
DLCs could have their cultural symbol added to the Bazaar.
Bazaar sets can and do have symbols, but they often seem random.
Also, rather than just flags, why don’t we have a body paint and wall/floor paint for the Clan Symbol?
As for putting down a PvP banner, that requires a stand up fight, and even if this one weren’t an opportunistic solo raider, there aren’t many foes left to fight. Battle Standards require battles and battles require willful combatants…
But even then, even if the Clan Symbol system itself were better, this one still wouldn’t consider a flag or two to be equivalent in value to the Stormglass cathedral or even base Aesir sets.
I bought the new overpriced set as I’d already allocated funds for it at the beginning of Chapter 3. Not buying a damned thing for the rest of the chapter. Not a fan of this price creep bullshit Funcom.
