EU servers down

All EU servers are down. It’s not possible to access Zendesk platform to report issues.

As for contacting Zendesk - Funcom no longer uses Zendesk, they have replaced with Helpshift (and not done a very good job of publicising it). They have updated the links in the pinned comments, or you can just go to Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center

Any news on servers down? Also on PC all EU servers are offline…

I’ve opened a ticket on gportal using my account, currently unused. The answer was that they cannot see any server associated to my account. I’ve tried to explain that I raised a ticket only to inform them about issue in EU region. Waiting for their answer.

If this is a Funcom issue GPortal is going to refer you back to Funcom. Funcom is their customer, not the players.

It sucks but the best thing to do is to submit a ticket through Helpshift and communicate to FC on all of their social media channels.

Then once this is resolved, continue to push Funcom for better communication and fall back plans. Because this is not the first time nor will it be the last.

It can not be a Funcom issue because all “Private” servers and all American Servers are online!
So this is definitely a G-Portal issue… this time.

Possibly, it is a holiday which many nations celebrate. So perhaps GPortal has not updated their website based on the Easter holiday.

However, just last month a ton of NA PVP servers were affected which you still see indicated through the GPortal status link.

Add in that not all private servers are GPortal, on PC they can be anything or dedicated. So those would not be affected anyway.

Now add in that in recent history how Funcom sometimes makes changes to settings which include mistakes.

So yes, it absolutely might be a Funcom issue.

True, but let’s be real, around 80 to 90% of servers are hosted on GPortal.
And yet, they’re not all affected.
A friend of mine is actually playing right now on a private GPortal server without any issues.
So yeah, this seems limited to the official EU server cluster.

Which, let’s be honest, probably runs on GPortal’s low-end compared to private servers!
You can litteraly feel the difference the moment more than 10 players are online at the same time on an official server.
It turns into a lag fiesta.

Oh, absolutely.
They’ve made plenty of mistakes, especially in Conan Exiles!
But still… why would “only one” region be affected and only Official Servers?
And conveniently during that region’s holiday period?
That doesn’t add up.
It’s way more likely to be a case of regional mismanagement than any kind of global issue.

Dude, I agree however if you think every company embraces tech and industry standards that’s a dream.

Let’s say that we’re in your expected scenario. Why hasn’t GPortal updated that there is an issue then? I would assume that it is possible that because GPortal is a EU company they might have Easter Monday off - or - more than likely, it’s an FC problem.

It is entirely possible that FC made changes to a region because they were fixing something and it caused a problem.

Either way, we don’t know and might never know.

But, at least FC is working, I see CS reviewing the forums right now.

So everyone is aware for PC these are currently online:

Reddit r/gportal_official is devoid of inquiries.

It’s not the first time this has happened, I remember several days of inaction and a server reset to three days earlier. but that it still happens is truly as pathetic as the lack of detailed information.

XBox has no server online, Playstation only one: #3042 PvE-C, which is full of players and therefore lags heavy.

I played yesterday a long session on XBox and noticed that suddenly all map markers and npc names went english… I logged off shortly before the shutdown message usually triggers. So yeah. Today, instead chopping heads off of foes i made a 15km walk in the (real) woods this afternoon, thank you Funcom (seriously, no irony)!

edit: Playstation is online again, Xbox i have to check…

Answer from gportal help desk:

we’ve already forwarded this to the necessary people.

They’ll look into it whenever possible.

I suppose it’s fixed now.
