A rollback would be your best option now.
I doubt anyone will cry about losing the resources they gathered in the meantime, or the thralls they recaptured in the mean time, or build in the meantime.
If there are some, it will be far less than the players that are very upset and about to quit your game forever right now.

And those or is that have been building and just accepted the lose? What do we get with a ârerollâ and losing the entire day of playing? Just pointing out there are more factors than your personal loss in the game.
Oceania #6429 (Siptah) is NOT affected (because disable thrall decay was ticked despite 1 day timer) - I have not lost any thralls on that server.
But have lost all thralls on Oceania #1953.

Which is why if theyâre going to rollback the servers, they need to do it ASAP. The longer they wait, the worse the negative consequences of doing so will be. It wonât take very long at all for those consequences to outweigh the goodwill gained from doing a rollback.
I personally was not affected, but a rollback would be the correct thing to do.
I can only speak for myself and my clan but this morning when we logged on and saw all our neighbors didnât have a single thrall we were heartbroken for them. While we didnât lose our thralls, as we have been active in the last 24 hours, we felt that we would rather lose the last 24 hours of playing so our neighbors could have their thralls back which represents much more than 24 hours of work. I would hope most people would also understand the need for a 24 hour rollback.

TBH, I already have moved on and working around the thrall issue and have already broke 5 berserkers
The same thing youâll probably get if they donât reroll: an apology and a multiplier boost for a week or two.
So seeing as youâll get a bone thrown either way, why not let people get their stuff back?
Blah blah blah, i have been working my .ss off the past two weeks to level up all my thralls and animals to be even better prepared for chapter II, so non of that bs please!!
