Ive never downloaded any mods, ive isable firewall and antivirus, i dont overclock or underclock (ive even tried while doing so), ive ran on DX11 and also DX12, uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, ive manually deleted anything related to conan and reinstalled everything, and ive verified steam files multiple times but continue to get this error.
Having this issue also, tried every solution posted online in relation to this fatal error with no luck. Crash happened after entering a new biome near a large base. Game will start but will crash seconds after loading in. This crash does not happen on any private servers I’ve tried to join to check. I do not use mods nor have I ever used mods on my game.
my game cant even get past the funcom logo, if i run on dx11 i crashes right after intro scene and if i run in dx12 via command it crashes with blank fatal error on UE4 logo as soon as the game is launched, if i run the conansandbox.exe from the win64 folder inside binaries i dont get fatal error however the game just launches to a black screen where it remains unresponsive, these devs need to pull their heads out of where the sun dont shine before they lose all of their fan base and collapse like many other devs before them
D3D11 errors usually related to the video card - configuration, drivers, settings. Something specific to your system. Funcom rarely responds to tech issues of this kind as they are not widespread.
When reinstalling have you deleted any remaining files before installing again? Was the game working before for you?
Maybe the 3 of you having this issue compare notes and configuration. Hope you figure it out as the game works for others such as myself.
ive uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled ive rolled back to the point i had previously had the game running through microsoft when i had game pass, ive used geforce experince to make sure things are updated, ive uninstalled windows updates and security updates, literally everything that has been found throught many forums has been attempted and nothing has fixed it, its not a hardware issue on my end and i doubt it is on many others considering we are all trying literally ever “fix” that exists and nothing works to fix it ive even completely removed geforce experience and used nvidia control panel to change the default graphics cards, my card functions flawlessly on literally any other unreal engine powered game except conan i have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB which is more than powerful enough to run the game considering it ran just fine before the age of sorcery update maybe even after though idk because i hadnt resubscribed to game pass to continue playing, but after countless uninstalls and reinstalls of literally all drivers and windows updates nothing fixes the d3d11 ftal error and if i force run in D3D12 i get a blank fatal error instead of gettting an actually error code
have you adjusted settings within the nvidia control panel for the app and if so could you grab a ss of it so i may compare, id really like to try and figure out how to fix this so i can play because i cant even refund the game due to too much play time while trying to troubleshoot
It has been made clear funcom has memory issues so you will have to continue filing bug reports, other wise they forget the game has bugs. {do you see the sarcasm dripping?}
Is Conan DX12 compatible?
You did include all that in the bug report you made, right?
Too many people do not know how to do a clean reinstall. If you aren’t going in to your system to deletes files you are not doing a clean reinstall.
The listed minimum for Conan is way, way out of date. Not saying your card is the issue but it is 3 gens out.
I’m running a 1060 6gig. Game used to run fine but has steadily gotten worse since ch4 dropped, but that seems more of a game on the public server issue.
As I have said, if all you are doing is selecting uninstall/reinstall you wont be deleting the files you need to. There are a lot of game/app folders that an uninstall wont touch.
I’ve had Coanan issues the only fix for was a total clean reinstall. Uninstall Conan, search your PC for Conan folders, delete them. If you don’t you are just putting the same old bad gas back in a fresh engine and wondering why it wont run.
Greetings everyone!
Thank you for reaching out to us with this issue.
Upon a quick investigation from our team, we suggest that you uninstall the video driver and install the latest version to see if the Fatal Error stops occurring.
My friend is using the same computer as you and encountered the same error message. The issue was successfully resolved by going into Device Manager and disabling the Intel iGPU. You m ight want to try that.
