Any comment from funcom? Anyone else also got the problem or is it “just” me and my friends?

The same for me today: PC, Steam client, files verified, Steam restarted - after trying to start game Fatal error occures and game exits. I’ve sent ticket to Zendesk and am praying for soon fix. :pray:

Yep, worked for me and same workaround helped all the people on Conan Exiles Discord channel too. Had to have 2 tries at it as I had a “Mod Mismatch” error that caused it to loop back, but worked the second time.

The workaround didn’t work for me. The fatal error simply appeared later on, after selecting a server and waiting for the load screen.

It may be a case of try, try again. But, at least Funcom have acknowledged and are looking at it. It is most likely something simple to fix and related to the verification authorisations and therefore BattlePass, etc (pure speculation my side :wink: ). Watch that space, have a cuppa tea/cocoa/coffee…

Did you trigger a Mod Mismatch by chance? If so, repeat the process - that’s what happened to me - got through 2nd time.
