IMO, being able to sell an empowered item, enhanced with a glyph, bound to the character, only by right clicking it from the inventory is a bad UI and UX.

And no, the catalogue is not that big. Whatever activity you run, you’ll end up with a bunch of green stuff to sell. Once done, the buyback history is updated and the valuable item is lost.

This is a preventive solution to this use case scenario.

Besides, the warning pop-up window already exists in the crafting interface when you try to empower with higher quality items. The idea is to extend this logic to vendors too.

Yes, because there is no way to revert something that is empowered into another item. There is a way to get back a vendored item. To vendor something into an unrecoverable state requires not just vendoring the item, but then vendoring so many more items that you can’t buy back the original.

I see some of you like to live dangerously

Miss click, sell a bounded item to the vendor and then buy it right back is the best case scenario.

Maybe just consider the case when you realize you lost your item the day you actually needed it. Manual deletion should have been prevented by a warning pop-up. At that time it’s not in the buyback window any longer. So, if it’s not in the bank, it’s lost.

Going through a lost item petition is a pain.
If you get your item back, it may be the same quality. But the amount of XP already empowered is not logged. So, the item is given back at level 0.
Then, there is the update to customer service policies, which increase the risk of not getting any answer to your petition at all.

Why not reduce that risk with a simple warning on valuable stuff ? :man_shrugging:

[Suggestion] Given that you (funcom) noted the success of the free weekend in bringing people toward Conan Exiles might I dig out an old idea concerning SWL. Put 1-2 cache keys into the daily rewards to get people hooked on patron and caches. Right now most people don’T really know what they are missing out on when not running patron or buying keys since they never see the value of cahces in action (mostly talking about the destillates) giving them a trial of the system might make the whole process more approachable with still only giving a sliver of the patron experience.

The daily login rewards could use an overhaul in general, they are by and large completely worthless. Ooh, a bag with an item that’s guaranteed to be 2 pip or better? Hold me back. :v:

Having the final reward be a cache key would be neat though.

It’s getting a little old sometimes, to loose ones paradoxes, because you happen to loose your target just when they pop. This shows most during Occult Defence in a group. If someone Bashosen, or otherwise throw the target, or is running the mobs around, its very hard to keep a target locked onto. The problem also presents itself with Anomaly. If The 8th paradox is gained on the second hit, the intended target might just have flown over and out of your lock on.

Is there Any way to give a small window, that isnt instant, to find a target, a little how Chi blade have decision time. Alternatively, maybe dont allow the 8th paradox to form, without a target pressent?

I enjoy having to work my mechanic, but this makes me wanna throw my teammates out the window, when they Bashosen my target through my character lol. Its disappointing enough to watch clones being too slow to hit, before the target dies.

[Suggestion] Please rename Classes…the current name and it being part of the creation process just confuses the heck out of new people. Call it starter kit or whatever just not classes which gives the wrong impression on people that they are stuck with it.

I just turned the circle off entirely because of this. I haven’t been missing it yet.

@Funcom Suggestion: Communicate with your player base before they go away.

So with the TaF (Third age Fragments) you can buy purple weapons and talisman. Its great because you dont have to lvl any of these from green. My suggestion would be to add purple glyphs and signets with the npc. It doesnt have to be anything good since its gonna be used as fodder.

Speaking of TAF I’d really appreciate having them account-wide, as aurum. I don’t feel like opening caches with 100ip character but I sure may think about helping them with gear with unused TAF from my main.

Cache keys should be account-wide, too. And booster drops really, really shouldn’t be character bound, but account bound at worst.

Seriously, Funcom, it’s a lot more fun to spend money if I don’t have to think about whether this is really the right character to be spending on, so I’m way more likely to do it.

Would it be possible to fuse signets for the same talismans? I made level 20 blue version, but then I got another signet for the same talisman, upgraded it to level 20 blue, but now I cannot fuse it - the only thing I’m left with is waste xps into upgrading another blue one of the same kind. So please, it would be great to make it possible the same way like talismans do work.

Thank you.

It should be made more clear that you can’t combine two signets with the same icon but I don’t think they’ll change the way it works any time soon because it completely dismantles a huge chunk of the grind involved if suddenly everyone only needs to find a single nemain or cruel delight instead of the sixteen they need currently. :v:

A Signet icon revamp might help clarify things, like making it into a pictographic “language”. So for instance, Occult Talisman slot base with a symbol for Nemain added, like an infinitesimally simplified Chinese.
Though this would take up an artist’s time that might be better spent designing Congolese assets or, as is probably the case, stuff for a Robert E Howard co-op shooter.

Suggestion: make the epic cache key give us the best possible distillates and a purple bag of third age fragments to at least take some of the edge off spending sixteen quid on an outfit we already own. :v:

To add to this the cost vs reward of these keys is terrible. @Pilchenstein suggestion will certainly help with this but currently even best case scenario that you get an epic weapon (with the right suffix) or epic talisman there are perhaps only a couple possible drops that hold a value above 500k MoF (the ~exchange value of 2000aurum) I understand that if a person wants an item bad enough and has no patience this is the fastest option but also keep in mind that almost every best in slot weapon is currently from blue bags and actually hold a much greater value then 90% of purple weapons. I just think this is a great idea but as usual poorly executed.

Were actually suggesting how to make the whole ordeal less of a scam and slightly more realistic.

I’m not at this point yet, but this seems valid. I have played other MMOs where ‘weaken’ said enemies is all but moot because if you get stronger, yet the enemies remain the same…well that is problematic. Only, I don’t want enemies to scale exactly, as many ppl like feeling over powered in some areas to collect items or lores, or well many other reasons ppl might like an OP character lol. Though, sometimes enemies level matching can help higher tiered characters extend interest by keeping the challenge going. So, it seems like a rock and a hard place thing there.

My suggestion for that quest you mention is just changing the parameters for that quest, where there’s no need to weaken the enemies to complete, though you probably know more about the mechanics of it than I do. But, thanks for pointing that out, it’s unlikely I’d be outgeared myself there, but it is good to list problems with different ranks and levels of play (and gear). I think maybe the assumption is that most won’t be outgeared there, but it is good to prepare for what-ifs too. Good pick up on this. I have this weird interest in finding bugs or oversights, though I’m no professional. I just hate being stuck and not being able to get past something, as that frustrates me when no solution is found, so yes this interested me.

I doubt really much can be done about it without some higher up intervention but still wanna try it:
Every Seasonal Event we see some sharpp increase in serverside performance issues, when the servers just can’T keep up with the bigger amount of people or the rush during hourly bosses leading to quite substantial lags and rubberbanding. Would it be possible to get more server"power" at least for seasonal events to guarantee the game isn’t made worse for returning or new players do to adequate infrastructure.
