Do the thralls with a rarer spawn chance have any benefit over others? For example if I get a Spinas the marauder from the volcano which has less of a spawn chance than say a Erii the Ravanger which has a high spawn chance. They both start out with the same base HP and strength, but does the Spinas have any other benefits over Erii? Like does the Spinas in general have better growth chances? That wasn’t the case on the Erii and Spinas I had but I wasn’t sure if maybe that was a really good Erii or a crappy Spinas.
Also, just to round things out. Is there anything that has an effect on which perks a thrall gets or is it all a randomized chance?
There are exceptions such as the Cimmerian Berserker (spawns with Forgotten Tribe Archer HP and HP/Point) and Beastmaster Teimos (spawns with Black Hand stats but crazy Base Health and HP/Point) but Funcom has acknowledged that they are mistakes and are looking into them.
There is much debate as to damage, since we have no useable numbers to compare and every PC player with the mod that shows damage numbers comes up with a different result on who does the most damage. And it wouldn’t surprise me if some of the thralls had messed up damage stats.
But I suspect that the intent is that Fighters in a Faction are meant to be equal, so that an Erii should be every bit as good as a Spinas. Until Funcom quits trying to “preserve the mystery” by hiding damage info (on human thralls only) we can’t know for sure.
Oh, and the perks are random but I think they said it is a mistake that Fighters are currently getting Archer perks and vice versa (can anyone confirm?).
