Can you let us know which type of thralls you have this issue with? If you can send us a video where we can easily verify the reported behavior it would be great!
fighter thralls and camel most recently. It’s random so getting a video would be difficult

I had this same problem as well when I adjusted my thrall to 10m follow and one stayed at 5. The one at 5 transported with me, but the one I changed to 10 did not. Changed it back to 5 and it worked. Hope this helps.
