Frost giant acquired a ranged perk

As i was researching this frost giant i saw that on pc last year there was a patch that remvoed frost giant access to ranged perks which made me relieved thinking I wouldnt need more than one but when bort got to level 20 he was hit with Eagle-eyed making this melee using giant better at a bow then his own axe.

Steps to Reproduce:

Become pet hoarder
Learn about frost giant
farm frost giant (name bort)
get to level 20
Bort acquires Eagled-Eye

Hi @Smurfey006 and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

It seems like the RNG gods were not on Bort’s side and he got a ranged perk and not a melee perk as he might have wanted.
We’ve also passed this information over to the rest of the team for further investigation.
