Frost Giant Pet Bug - PVE

Hello there!
I recently farmed the Horn of the North and spawned a Frost Giant pet, but after a while it simply disappeared without a trace when I was entering my base.
It was still following me while this happened and I could access the companion wheel, but it was not responsive to any command: I thought this could be caused by some collision issues, which happens a lot with companions when they get stuck into something, therefore I ordered another companion to follow me and I waited the Frost Giant to respawn near my base, but that never happened.
I looked into the log system there was no instance of it dying or no alert message watsoever, so I wonder what could have caused it: online seems that a lot of people had problems with this thrall and that it may have fallen “under the map”.
Hope could you pull something off with this, even though it’s not much!

Can confirm, not only Frost Giants but anything you can place down, currently down 2 thralls that just fell through the floor as I put them down.

  • Do you have any mods installed?
  • This happened after the 2.3 update?

  • yes we have the “pick up+” mod installed on the server;
  • no it happened two days prior of the lastest patch

There were issues noted with Pickup+ under CE2.3 that a recent Pickup+ update should have fixed.
Update your mods and re-test.

This happened to me with regular thralls in official, aka no mods. Just sinking into the ground after placing them. Before the 2.3 update too.
