but you don’t really have to play anything. You just have to take 1 swing with each to see axe is faster than hammer or greatsword and then look at the stats to notice the axe is better in every aspect.
I actually did use them (mostly for end-game comedy value, admittedly) - Antidote of One prevents the self-corrupting effect. As far as I could tell, the hammer was no better than whatever hammer it was I was replacing with it (I forget, it was a little while back) - it just looked more ludicrous…

Yeah I also saw you can remove the corruption with 40 survival on the wiki. and the durability is 6k.
Still not worth the trouble at all though.
Because is really REALLY hard to convince anyone to join the game after they see the first combat. “Call me when it’s finished” is the most common reply of all the friends I tried to get here. Game is great but you have to blindly love it at first sight and that’s just a few of us

A lot of what he said is right. It makes me angry ,too.
What we should not forget is that Conan Exiles is actually an excellent game. For me it is one of the best games I ever played. It offers tons of content and it was obviously made with love.
But that is also the reason why funcoms behavior makes a lot of people so mad. They give players a game thats fascinating and subsequently fail to meet the demand of that challenging player base.
The fact that there are still players into Conan Exiles (some of them with thousands of hours playtime) proves that this is a good game. Still it could be more but funcom seems not capable to develop it any further. I really wish they would try harder…

Who cares? Its just some guys slick internet video. Funcom has their own metrics on whether the game is a success. Thats all that matters.
Obviously the game is a success. Just the base game made at least 5x production cost. Add in DLC’s and whatever you get from Sony when they make your game free on PS plus.
But with all them empty officials and way lower player numbers than similar survival games, doesn’t really paint a game that is still a success.
That’s exactly the point of the view. That their “analytics” seems to be their wallets and nothing else. The game has the potential to be a much much bigger hit but they are unwilling to take the risk of expending on such effort.

It’s funny to see how much people obsess over the Chosen title. It’s even funnier to see just how low will people stoop when it comes to using that title as some argument.
The post you were replying to was perfectly civil, didn’t insult anyone, and stated something that holds true for the vast majority of people, especially on the Internet. And it was far less bitter than I would have expected, given the amount of asshollery directed towards Multigun on these forums.
Don’t expect Chosen to be nice, or even to hang out on these forums, if guys like you keep treating them like shіt for no reason.

It’s funnier to see people jealous of a title given to someone ( that he did not ask for , since it’s awarded to you by Funcom if they feel like you have done enough for the community ) , Furthermore , this tittle doesn’t mean he has to be nice to everyone or if that matters to anybody at all . it just mean that Funcom aknowledged his ‘work’ for the community.

When the fanbase rheeeels against server wipes, many of them become museums. The problem rests with the users in that case because they make their own playspace uninhabitable.

It’s always, ALWAYS, overwhelming negative. It literally doesn’t matter what it is. Even freaken mounts, the biggest requested feature for 2 years, got nothing but a swell of negative feedback pretty much the moment it was announced.
Right, and that’s never happened in the history of video games. Populations never ever die off after a few months of a launch. Ark is definitely dead, it “only” has 70K players playing, when they had 150K at one point. And every single one of those people who are no longer playing Conan left because of the reasons you specifically listed. Not for any other reason, nope.
Not saying that at all. I called you out on your statement that Funcom doesn’t listen to feedback. I’m not blind, and despite what many on this board believe, I’m not “paid” by Funcom either. Funcom is always trying to improve their practices. And they have. Anybody who says they haven’t improved since launch are either intentionally ignoring all the facts, or are outright lying.
There is easily ways to do constructive feedback, and most on this board choose not to. If you want examples of how to do something right, look at Narelle, Larathiel, Jim, Codemage, darthphysicist, WhatMightHaveBeen, and etc. All of them have had a history of posting things that are far and away acknowledging “Funcom’s benevolence,” but even their negative posts have extremely valuable feedback.
The “Funcom sucks, Funcom is greedy, Funcom doesn’t listen”, helps literally nobody.

You don’t agree with the hardcore FC fans = you’re wrong.
And it’s still like that… I have a bunch of friends that when I wanted them to get Conan they were either like “Ain’t that a FC game? I think I’ll pass” or when they try it and quit because of bugs and lag (they don’t even play long enough to experience the exploits) are like “oh well, what can you expect from a FC game”
