You are going up against several issues:
Giving Funcom more money, assuming the game will ever be sufficiently ported to the PlayStation. This one does not consider the PlayStation port of Conan Exiles to be sufficient. Given how well they care for this game and community, no thank you.
Then there is the concept of the game.
This one has as little affinity for drug dealers as this one does slavers. And thatâs the entire concept behind the game, become the biggest drug kingpin of psychic cocaine. Whereas slaves is only one aspect of Conan Exiles and the story is about freeing oneself of slavery to a sorcererâŚ
Dune Awakening is about the Spice.
Full stop.
Getting invested in another game by Funcom. Even if it were free, the way their previous (and current) product are handled, this one doesnât want to tie their enjoyment of play experience to Funcomâs demonstrable care and attention to detail. Furthermore, itâs an always online PvP focus game. This one has played two games that featured PvP from Funcom. Following the trend set, this one expects an easily exploitable system on insufficient servers, constantly being adjusted by people who donât give a fig how it impacts flow of gameplay. Then there is the magnificent moderation of servers we have seen.
Also, this one prefers Sword and Sorcery to Sci-Fantasy.
Lastly, itâs a sandbox. Literally.
This one does not enjoy desert biomes unless it is Dark Sun.
Poke this one when itâs Athas, rather than Arakis, online.
