Bug Description:

I can join The server, but things don’t want to load. Yes, the server is modded. Structures load in, other players load in, but my own model wont load in. I can move around, i can open doors, open menus, see myself in the inventory screen, but other then that, nothing. I’ve tried many things. Reinstalling, restarting computer, router, computer + router Reinstalling on a different drive, wiping my mods and folder completely(to the best of my knowledge) and reinstalling, verifying. Nothing takes. I was playing the game on the server fine one moment, then my PC lost connection, as in it couldn’t detect an ethernet connection. I rebooted two times and things were fine. but then this issue started. i had this problem twice before in the past, and they just ‘resolved themselves’ randomly one shortly, the other after i took a 6 month break. I can load single player just fine with our mod-list. i can join a vanilla server semi fine, but that result is inconclusive at most, we believe. . We just started a new season on our server, i got with a group I really like. Please help, two weeks of running fine and suddenly this problem comes back. Our working theory is that its a communication issue, or at worst a hardware issue. Recently tried swapping out modems, and other games that had some issue in multiplayer were rectified, but not this one.

Bug Reproduction:

Not sure how how to Recreate this to begin with, except that my computer has done so three times each having resolved themselve differently, or on they’re own

I’ve been reading these threads all day, and the best explanation is the image cache is too slow at times. Maybe the compression technique is the deal if not cached. (I’m not saying encrypted…)

Is there a way to fix that? or to know for sure?

The hardware issue can be helped by using a SSD instead of a HDD.

Is it the PS4, PS4 PRO, PS5, PS5 PRO, or “PS5 DE PRO”?

I think plain old ps4 is being phased out. I wanted the latest DE with rtx.

Okay. I’m tired. It must have been the pc with rtx. I’m thinking. It’s a very similar setup.

SMall update. My character model FINALLY loaded in. buuuut, no decorations. this room is supposed to be a bedroom. The door isnt loaded in.
