I have installed ao after years, but it is on a different laptop. To my surprise game launches but the screen is black. And after a while i have to end the session due to “Does not respond”.
I have tried with the on board graphic card or the dedicated one GTX 1050… Still no luck…
Please help.
Hi, I suppose you are running Win10 which uses DX12 and AO doesn’t. You can go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35 and install this package to add some old DLLs
