I’ve been playing Conan Exiles for several months now. I play on an older gen Xbox One S. Yes i have been experiencing game crashes, render issues and server connection loss, but i just accepted it and enjoyed the game as it was. Now that the new update has arrived my game started crashing so many times that i have lost count. It would crash standing still, scrolling through the battlepass page, arriving at our base, while trying to teleport to other locations. I’ve tried multiple power cycles and restart and it got me no where, because now my xbox started saying that the game takes too long to start. So i uninstalled the game to try a reinstall. Only to see that i can’t download Exiled Lands anymore, even though i have purchased the game together with Siptah. I do still own Siptah and am able to download it, but without Exiled Lands this is not going to work. What is going on here ? I paid 52 euro for the package and now i can’t download it anymore ?? Please fix ASAP !!! Thanks
Edit: I’m playing it on cloud gaming now, but that’s not the same
After playing on the cloud for a while, xbox actually offered me to install Exiled Lands again. It looks like that part has been sorted out. Fingers crossed while i’m installing it !
Edit/update: After installing, i was able to play the game again. I don’t know if this solved most issues, but at least i can log in and have fun. The picture of the so called “game cover” on Xbox has also changed appearance. I hope this is solving my issues for now.
This update and the installation of the game has not solved all issues. My game keeps crashing when i load into our base on 2006 I can stay on the server for like 2 minutes and walk around our base before it crashes. I think it had most issues trying to render in our vaults and maproom. Now i know stabillity on 2006 is horrible, but i can’t fingerpoint who the problem is on that server. Multiple bases have been built at grids 4 & 5, F11 and other parts of the North, almost across the whole width of the map, that seem to make my game crash to dashboard every sngle time i get over there. But that it also happens now in our own base, i don’t think i can really play on that server anymore.
Yes i know one of the answers will be, Upgrade to X Series. But i simply can’t and won’t for the sake of 1 videogame that is causing issues on a platform that the developer released it on . Fix the game, admin the servers, solve problems, thank you.
Update: Game still crashes to dashboard in random locations. Standing still or just walking around a little teleporter base (volcano) is already an issue. I have been able to play for an hour or hour and a half without a crash.
