filed petition under mission. I wrote: I do not think this is a mission issue but my game since yesterday has had errors that stop the game and caused a return to desktop. I did also receive a runtime error yesterday and today. I have done a file repair check and it was ok for a while but now has started up. I did take a screenshot of error. "Program:…5/common/secret world legends/secret/worldlegendsDX11.exeThis application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.” Added Loaded game 5/1/19 still crashing. Shows up in event viewer
poor character can not even tour London and I only have one character. It does not seem to just crash at the same particular action. Nvidia card and computer up-to-date on updates etc. Thank you for any help you can give me. Can provide a screenshot
to add to this is that this game is on steam
When that box pops up, try alt-tabbing back into the game to see if it’s still working. I had that error on monday and played for like, two hours with that popup in the background.
I don’t know the details, but ppl have been having trouble with the latest Nvidia update, across different games. I for one am gonna refrain from updating for a while.
fyi i looked at event viewer and found the crashing involved Nvidia’s latest driver release.
Here’s a excerpt from one of my posts on which Nvidia driver seems to be stable with TSW. You will have to roll back.
“I’ll post the a copy of this in the Nvidia forums. It can be duplicated and at least what know what driver release is stable with SWL. You can use 419.67 March 25, 2019. That release has Shadow of the Tomb Raider tweaks in it which I also play.”
Check this thread:
I got this error again today and once again I was able to just alt-tab back into the game and continue playing. So just ignore this error until Nvidia sort their drivers out.
Why am I not surprised your advice is to ignore everything and just play on
Exactly my issue. I do not think that it is the Nvidia the last update was April 23. I always keep things updated anyway.
if you are having trouble with Nvidia updates causing issues then contact them. They are nice and easy to deal with. Conflicts are going to happen.
You’re welcome to obey the popup and shut the game down every time it happens if you want, all I’m saying is you can not do that and it doesn’t seem to impact your gameplay at all.
I’m not, cause i haven’t updated my drivers yet
I also added the event viewer information on my petition.
