You clearly didn’t read the context. A player who only plays PVE is defending the arrows and calling for them to be kept. Yet they don’t affect said person in anyway other than a bug. So their opinion has merit?
Merit: deserve or be worthy of (something, especially reward, punishment, or attention).
Have you tried to use those arrows against an NPC (other than a player’s thrall in PVP)? Maybe someone else has and found it useful. It’s the same discussion that happened with Swords of Crom, Lifeblood Spears, spears in general, light armor dodging, etc. Some things are problematically powerful in PVP but only situationally useful in PVE, so making a knee-jerk “fix” based on only PVP feedback could completely obsolete certain features in PVE. That’s why the game developers need to hear all sides of the argument, including those who you may not consider important.
i’m playing pvp and have no prb with acid arrow, each time an interesting feature is introduced this is the sam story of some people complaining to obtain nerf which make lost all interest to the new feature introduced. and a nerf by x10 is … like for lifeblood…
i imagine a game with the orignal crom sword, and lifeblood, and hp door at 50K, a game more interesting.
The arrows have zero use in PVE. They don’t strip armor from NPCs. The armor on NPCs is only visual. The NPC itself has an armor rating.
They don’t cause damage? The item’s description seems to imply that they still cause damage over time in the area of effect.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Attack someone’s well guarded base (10 silent legion armored NPCs T4 from vulcano)
- Fire 3 Acid Arrows (Which took me 15 mins to farm) and pull all 10 guards into a cluster
- Watch all guards loose their armor and be easily killed be me (solo raider)
- Facepalm at Funcoms gamebreaking implements yet again
It takes me 90 seconds to ruin a defence that took the defender hours upon hours to build.
- T4 vulcano thralls guards
- Materials for silent legion full set + gas protection
- Mats for weapons
And i just find a stupid place to fire arrows and make all the guards hug my safe location. Using arrows i spent 15 mins farming mats for (btw, i used 3, and i got mats for about 300 in those 15 mins)

I agree. Just admit it was a stupid implementation and remove them. I got a stock of 2000 now, but i would love to see them removed. It was actually OK balanced before this with the thrall defence vs attacker needs to make an efford to raid.

They also go through tier 3 walls. I tested by firing at my wall. The cloud radius is about the same as gas.
I put a thrall in fully freshly made armor againt the wall. I came in and the armor was being disinitgrated.
I mentioned before.
Make them do a cloud of Sunder. Its useful in all modes of play from PVE to PVP and everything that lives inbetween

As a Conan HQ fan, I would accept with a very big smile if they drop the effects on arrows idea (banning explosive and acid arrows) and instead give them a buff on direct dmg with a short bleed that gets more powerful the more one spec into accuracy.
Bows are supposed to be what they are, simple bow&arrow, not dragon ball or knights of the zodiac.
Yeh all my thralls are moved inside until they are removed. Actually insane how broken these arrows are
I used explosive arrow to extract Star Metals. I find it more convenient than jars and orb
I understand it as utility, but it is very silly you destroying a concrete wall with arrows dont you think?
It would make more sense turning the explosive arrow into the fire arrow that once existed. It would ignite a very small area and do fire dmg for X time.

Yes, but it would require wearing twice as much. A fire arrow and a tar arrow, or an orbit of tar. In addition, depending on the position of the meteorite, it is easier to have them with arrows. Afterwards they can reduce the damage on the walls only, without for example having to use more on the star metal.

Before the fight my armor was 100% durab, legendary bow ~40% durability. Target has no acc, just spam of acid arrows
