Yep. I’m devastated. I just came back to this yesterday and now I can’t play lol.
This is one of those games that every 6, 10, 12 months or so, you just need your fix for a few weeks to recenter. I love this game so much, I hope this is fixed, stat.
Yes as I have noted in the replies even with the server restarts this problem still remains. Online servers only. Singleplayer mode is the only thing that works. This is strictly an online/multiplayer issue in relation to servers.
Excellent post. Seems everyone having the same problem. I even tried cloud gaming through console and through meta vr headset with Xbox app and exactly the same results.
If somebody from no so funcom would tell us they are aware and working on a fix everyone wouldn’t be so miffed about this. Since Xbox runs the core windows OS perhaps simply restarting their main equipment for the console crossplay would resolve the whole thing.
Funcom…if you do that, let us know and tell us who we can send a message to in to future.
Often over the years since using windows 3.11, aka windows for workgroups, and through almost every version, restarting the hardware and letting the OS have fresh boot solves many problems. So if you didn’t catch it, I’m saying that it could be a windows is problem. So just restart every piece of hardware in the chain and see what happens. Cannot be worse than us not being able to play at all, which is where we currently stand.

Yep same here. Started yesterday. My partners game is fine, but mine crashes.
thought it was due to apossible corrupted file dump when I looted the corpse of someone I fought in PvP since the people we were fighting were exploiters and had thralls with 64823 health and could one hit a god.(thought they may have been hackers when this happened)
Cleared the cache data, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing worked.

I think I have seen your posts regarding the thralls. This is caused by using 2 items only available in the bazaar. Server restarts / crashes reset the glitched stats applied. I’m thinking of making a megathread as such in these forums for every single exploit/bug and how they are caused. With any luck with the new rules announcement they may finally get around to fixing or patching these methods.
Unfortunately the only way to combat this is to either not play the server or exploit yourself since there’s a severe lack of enforcement against people abusing these exploits. The person you are fighting also very likely has a meshed base too btw.
There is already a mega thread for bugs and glitches. If you mean a megathread with all the how-to’s someone has already posted the step-by-step for this specific exploit and it was removed. As would probably happen with any such mega thread of exploit how-to’s. Just saying.
But, he is correct @Mystie there is a current exploit that gives players the ability to make any thrall hit with thousands of percent damage buff and pretty much as much health as you wanna give them. Advice is, as above, just avoid it altogether. But, just to put it out there, stacking disease on thralls with insane health pools like that takes them down fast since disease does a percentage of their max. Huge health pool means huge damage per tick.

Yes, those are legitimate, but this exploit they’re using also gives thralls thousands (pretty much limitless) damage buffs as well as the unlimited health pool
Been having server issues on official xbox PVP and PVE C servers I play on. Can log in without game crashing to desktop or freezing now since yesterday. Now my brother who lives a few states away is also having same issue. I dont remember a patch or update yesterday. But ya this never happened before. Now all my other online games work fine. Is funcom gonna fix this ?
Unfortunately those megathreads lack proper information regarding the bugs or exploits, most of the time its just “Invincible Golems - Cannot Kill” without necessary details. Some of which date back to a few years ago. If they want to crack down on these things given the new rules announcement it would be better to have a detailed report about all outstanding bugs or exploits. Some exploits are listed as fixed in patchnotes which they are not.

The reason those megathreads lack information is because there is a character limit for threads.
a) click on the links provided to reach the longer reports that have actually been made
b) as Validusernam3 already explained to you, explaining how to perform exploits is against the forum rules and will result in posts/theads being deleted
Good luck with the 20+ threads you will need to produce to actually contain all of that information
Whereas the ‘Solved’ sections of the threads being referred to generally only include issues that have been confirmed solved by players
