Logged into base right after the update. Base is built with insulated wood. Drank from Fountain of Refreshment which is inside the base. Got the “Extremely Cold” debuff and lost about 15-20% of my health before it wore off. Was wearing flawless epic light encumbrance gear.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
Maybe some details about exact location, your level, and survival stats would be helpfull.
I think, depending how, it could be more useful maybe so. I mean, so it has a use in very hot location where you can’t stand without being to hot, like some special spots in desert, or maybe ever the volcano.
The statue shouldn’t be just a well more.
So all depends how hard this debuff is, and the settings.
Level 60. 2 perks in survival. +2 heat resist in each of 5 armor pieces. I easily get cold after drinking almost anything. But being cold is one thing. Being extremely cold and losing HP is an entirely different thing. This is the first time it ever happened.
And what if you drink from a standart well ?
I know, purified water now has get you cold, it’s to see how important this cold buff is, and to know if it’s a feature or a bug.
I barely use Mitra, and the statues, so didn’t test them out this last time. If a statue can hold you fine and cold in very hot areas, like the volcano, i can def live with that.
What gear were you wearing I am wearing epic yamatai in reinforced bulding at dregs drank from well and got cold. Also is your well near windows or doors where temp can vary in even a insulated building?
Hmm…a Statue of Refreshment which makes you ‘extremely cold’ in the desert. Awesome! Now if only it could be modified to dispense beer instead of water! Paradise.

Previously water would not apply a cooling effect if you were already cold. How cold were you before drinking? And did the “cooling down” status display after you drank?
I haven’t used a mitra well for a long time so can only comment on other forms of water. Was the effect repeatable using a water skin or purified water?
I’m also wondering if you drank as soon as you joined the game, and possibly before the game had registered that you were already cold (hence you got the status effect).
