gPortal Tick Rate

So when attempting to change the tick rate on my dedicated gPortal server for the ps4, any time I reset the server it resets the tickrate from 60 back down to 30. When I contacted gPortal support they claimed that the game devs locked the tick-rate to 30 and 60 was impossible. This seems extremely odd. If this is the case, could anyone explain the reason behind this? If it isn’t the case, what can we do about it?

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Go to gPortal hosted server.
  2. Change Tick-Rate from 30-60.
  3. Save settings.
  4. Restart server.
