I truly donât know why the hell does he do the things he does. Itâs like a crazy personal crusade where he earns nothing but contempt from others. If he has some kind of cause, that behavior would only harm it. Itâs insanity, pure and simple.

You can hide the helmet. With the Thaumaturgy Bench, you can make it look like earrings or a headband.
I always use this, and the guy says thereâs bad customization, huh?

That feature was a godsend. Before we all had the same armors. On pvp then it was straight awful. You had to use colors, bright!, for easy recognition.
My point is that if youâre a male, youâll pretty much end up looking ape like. The orb of Netgal allows for some precious adjustments, but, as the OP stated, it could have been so much more. Missed oportunity right there. Most players look nearly the same, fashion being the only distinguishing factor. We look like a band of inbreds, even when we use different races!
I donât like brutal, hairy men either. Thatâs the reason Iâve never played a male character.
So you wanted them to look more natural, right? It makes sense.
yes this is 100% where I am heading at - the distinction is to small - it would be cool with more things
Let us open the idea of âWar-paintsâ - in the past they had a function, now they dont - it would be easy to add war-paint as a permanent if chosen in Character creation or with the Orb.
currently it makes it so that people dont wanna use their war-paint on a pvp server- cus in pvp battle u can die alot and ppl dont wanna bring a chest full of warpaints to war when time is ticking but ppl pay for them in the shop
Now you mention race aswell - that they do look very similar which imo is fine, but Faces, Hairstyles, Scars, Arm size, Leg size, Eyesight, Blindfolds, heck Bodyhair(saw a mention) and so on there are prolly way more things the more creative can add to this list- but these things could just aswell as the many building assets and armor assets we get in the shop - also be a part of that shop - some could be baseline and free but others could be really cool additions and I understand that Funcom needs profit on it, and I support it.
Edit: It could even be fighting animations or run animations with weapon - I know alot of ppl dont wanna play the male character cus they look silly when they run with or without weapon

I would like options. More customization, especially on the face. I change it as much as I can, but the differences are limited. You either look ugly, by disproportionately reducing or enhancing a certain feature, or you basically can have 5 different looks or smth. I mean, I can live with it, obviously, but I would prefer if we had more control. For instance (and I know the game is much more recent) I spent about 3h just creating my â â â â on Dragonâs Dogma. i know thatâs not everyoneâs cup of tea, but I like to put some effort into it. I have nothing against players who donât have imagination or talent or that simply donât give a shit about that. Fine by me, as long as I can do it. And thralls. When you spend hours getting them and they all look hideous! Sometimes you get a nice looking one, but most look like the offspring of the jungle apes and a berserker! 
But I made my.peace with that aspect of CE long ago. Definitely, this is way lown in my priorities list of things to fix/improve!
