Hey long time. Some quick feedback because i need to say it

The bazaar Pictish dance animation is not qualitative… Do something about it please.

Age of war feel boring.

I don’t like the pvp gameplay change. I launch the game i buy everything in the bazaar for support i play it quickly just for the nice stuff (or not) you have done. And i close the game…
I miss switching weapons and cancelling attacks quickly… We can’t knockback ppl with a bow anymore…nooo… This game need ■■■■■■… Gameplay is motivation for me. Bubble was a cool thing. I already masteries the build part, the pippi tool part, the rp part and the pvp part. It was a complete game, without the old mechanics it’s not a complete game.

The game is now boring to me.

Bye

That’s a curious definition of “complete”.

The thing is, a game with no updates becomes stale, and players will often get bored of it. (Yeah, chess hasn’t received an update since the 18th century, and people still play it, but it’s a totally different game from Conan Exiles due to the skill aspect, competitiveness, rankings etc.)

So changes are a must. Not all of them are going to please everyone, that’s for sure. But no change would eventually displease most, if not all, players.

I want the possibility to play old revision. And no what you are saying is not true. A game with no updates mean the game is good enought. Everyone continu to play retro and older games. Because of the gameplay… If you want to change the gameplay mechanic let to the player the possibility to choose the revision in the parameter or launch a new game like in versus fighting Conan Exiles Ex plus Alpha rikiki edition.

My hope are in modders now.

You being bored of Conan Exiles can mean 1 of 2 things. You either played too much or have 0 imagination/creativity.

This would require maintaining several versions of game servers, which would cost a lot. And people playing old versions tend to be people who don’t bring more money into the game, so it’s not profitable business.

Oh, except people like those who wanted, and got, Old School Runescape years ago. That’s a prime example of a product catering for people who liked the “old version” - except that people didn’t really want the old version as is, they just wanted to cherry-pick their updates. To take a comparable example from Conan Exiles, they would want to keep the old combat mechanics, but they’d still like to have the new dungeons and the new Purge, for example. In Runescape, this led to a point where the “old-school” version was receiving more updates than the “live” version.

And as I’m sure you can guess, the “Old School” Runescape still had the same monthly subscription fee as the “live” version, because the game company needed to cover the expenses of offering the version. So the only way Conan Exiles could have several versions would be to have a way to get money out of the players.

(I guess technically you could run an old version of Conan Exiles on a private server.)

It simply mean the new gameplay is not fun and tends to pushes me away from the game. I hope age of war 3 will change that.

Sounds like they got what they wanted from you.
Why should they “fix” things if you log in and give them money anyway?
