I am attempting to host co-op with my friends. I am testing with two computers inside the house. I am able to launch the game, make a character and invite people and they are able to join with no issues. I can load mods and play with them flawlessly in a single player game or when I create a co-op game.
However, when I try to invite someone while even a single mod is on the server, when someone tries to join, they get a window saying that the mod list is incompatible. the mods are listed on the right and it says ‘ok’ under the status. Trying to click join button from that menu causes it to close to desktop, reopen the game and it tries to join again with the same result in an endless loop.
I have made absolute certain that they are in fact the same mod, there is no loading order issue because it is in fact one mod. I have tried it with a number of different mods by themselves with the same result. I’ve tried loading the mod from the launcher, and separately from the main menu.
Without fail, it says the mods are incompatible. I attempted to unsubscribe from the mods in the workshop and let the server decide what needs to be downloaded, checking it so it would download the related mods for me, with no change.
I am at the end of my rope here, I have no idea what to do.
