I would be surprised if you get it any time within the next 5 years.
The thing is, Funcom is not making this game. Monolith is. They are not owned by Funcom, the only association the two have together is that they “partnered” aka paid for the rights to use the Conan IP. Although, they are a French company and Conan is in the public domain in the EU so… maybe not?

Deep diving previously this is what I’ve been able to determine based on my rabbit hole research:
Conan Properties International <> Paradox Entertainment / Cabinet Entertainment partnered with Heroic Signatures <> Funcom <>Tencent
Would appear licensed from one of these entities, Heroic seems to be the main licensor. If I’m incorrect about my findings, please anyone correct me.

Howards IP is public domain. Any unique IPs added (characters, story archs, etc.) are under different IPs for the companies that “added” them. So if the board game is using Conan Exiles parts as well as Howards, then rights for those parts would need to be obtained.

So as you can see, in the US the character of Conan will not enter Public Domain until January 1st 2028. However, different nations have different laws regarding public domain, and just because the stories that Conan appears in written by Robert E. Howard may in fact be in the public domain does not mean that the CHARACTER HIMSELF is. Laws are very tricky like that. 
You are completely correct about this! If they were to use anything “new” that was added by, say, Marvel then they would have to obtain the license from Marvel to use that specific content (which is why the rights to Red Sonja is owned by someone completely different than the rights to Red Sonya is ).

Yea during the live stream in February , the thing was that Funcom had email stated they would let me know when it would ship, although it was from monolith it was a stream reward from Funcom
As I stated above . Funcom has already reached out and is working on a solution. I have confidence they will come thru.
But all is well Im very excited to have them respond and hopefully soon be able to unwrap the game set.

Hopefully they add more Sorcery spells like in the dev kit. I would love to see how the Mudslide spell looks and what it’s for.
Im not good at using the dev kit. So if someone could make a video of all the sorcery spells there that would be so cool.

I mean you can still do vanity just dont make it valuable… i made a vanity tavern on official pvp w barkeeps and its fairly big.. since its just a tavern with a map room nobody bothers it
