*This will allow people to make more friends In the servers so your thralls an pets wont attack them…
Maybe only allow 1-2 clans In the alliance, due to population of some servers being low?
Basically want people to be aimed towards war so all clans associated are war-minded. Work well together with other clans as a team. With clans working together as one, people will feel comfortable with playing the game, exploring, killing bosses, and pvping!
*But keep each clan in the alliance independent. Each clan gets to keep their leadership and rules…

Clans should have 10 slots. But there should be a way for people to soft join. What i mean is if i have a clan, i can invite you. Then i can accept full membership (all my stuff goes to clan) or allied membership. All my stuff stays with me, but
level 1 Ownership stays separate, clan keeps theirs. Fall under friendly fire, and no aggro form each others pets/thralls, and doors access, can’t access crafting stations.
Level 2 Ownership stays separate, but we have mutual access to chests, crafting stations and pet pens, along with level 1 stuff.
Level 3 Ownership stays separate, but we have access to level 2 stuff and vaults and thrall wheel added.
Level 4—Full Clan member–All belongings transfer to clan, and clans belongings transfer to you. Can dismantle of clan items and any building are under clan name.
Level 5–Same as 4, but now can add members and promote up to level 2 status.
Level 6–Same as 5, Can promote up to a 4, demote/kick
Leader–can promote/demote/kick all levels.
all levels fill toward the 10 max as is now.
for some fun,
level 1 would have player name—Thrall of clan name.
Level 2 would have player name–Ally of clan name
Level 3 would just be player name–clan name
Level 4 would have player name + something chosen by Clan Leader. Like WMHB the “Slaver”
Level 5 would be the same as 4, except now the player gets to choose his own extra part.
Level 6 would be player name + King/Ruler/etc option of clan name.

It would take 2/3 majority in points of those who voted. no vote does not calculate.

And if mutiny is successful, then the leader gets demoted to level 1 immediately. Can be kicked afterwards. Just in case it is because the player may be still friendly, but not playing regularly.
-emperor photo of main alliance leader. then have the four photos of the name and ID of the four horsemen below him. Those four people can out vote the emperor If he Is Inactive or they just don’t like him no more If they vote the emperor can me demoted or kicked.
Me & WhatMightHaveBeen, have came up with this Idea. It would be something great to put into the game the people will love It. Maybe add some nice interface for It…
This has been brought a lot on these forums. The biggest downside was stated by @Shadoza. You will always, always, always have people looking to exploit, and with alliances, you will see alpha clans teaming up constantly to raid noobs in servers.
It depends on how Funcom would build such a feature. You can make it easy , then probably Shadoza will be right with his fear, that people will abuse such a feature. But you also can make it more complex preventing possible abuses.
Strongest alliance of each week maybe holds a buff, or gets a title, or something to benefit.
Therefore Alliance clan leaders would be only ones wielding the items, titles, etc…
It would make others jealous and want to grind their own clubs to try and take them down. Make it a competition.
What if… Clan alliances allowed allied clans to not only not be attacked by the NPCs of allied clans, but also the ability to open doors/containers and use the crafting benches of their allies…(Though ownership is retained by the clan who built it and your allies cannot take your buildings apart or move your thralls or dismantle your placables…) Also clan leaders can and should be able to leave an alliance at any time…
Being allied also doesn’t give you the ability to build on your allies claimed land.
Lastly if that isn’t sufficient for preventing “abuse” perhaps limit alliances to PvE and PvE C servers?

There’s already effectively unofficial “Alliances” in the game. Large groups of players work together typically against smaller tribes and it pretty much kills servers with the current player caps. I’ve seen some servers where its 20 to 30 people or so against at most 10. Kind of unbalanced to implement an official alliance system that stacks the whole server against smaller clans that want to actually PVP. Then after the smaller clan is wiped the alliance players get bored and leave the server when there’s nothing else to do. Unless there’s servers in the future with more player slots it doesn’t make sense to have half the server allied officially with some sort of gained benefits from it.
