Just out of curiosity, did you know that you can put just about any food you like in the wheel? I only recently learned this so I dunno if there are any side effects or whatnot but I know I keep having to add more and more "Improved Ice Box"s if I want to keep all the stuff I seem to amass with every hour of gameplay. Recently I tried throwing a few thousand steaks in and it seemed to work fine.

I’m partial, but I like to mix in some Asura gear, plus the SURV perk in the Black Blood tools to give me Hard Worker. Then oil on the tool and you’re full to the brim in no time. I take Featherstep with me and she does all the heavy lifting.
Pretty close to New Asagarth, South-East of it.

I think the food with the highest ease-to-acquire to burn-time-in-wheel ratio are Cooked Exotic Shellfish.
75 of them will break a T4 (with a T4 taskmaster).
However, I think the Feast to Yog is potentially the best possible food, depending on your circumstances. It is made with Bone Broth (a common drop from enemies), Weathered Skull, and Ichor. Get yourself a Zathite Ritual Dagger and stab some dead spiders to get Zathite Bags, pop a few of those bags and you with have all the Weathered Skulls you could ever want, as well as Ichor. You need 27 Feasts to Yog to break a T4 (with a T4 taskmaster).

If I could use shrimps and crubs for fishing, then I would definitely use more traps for these.
I wish one day, especially shrimps, will be used as bait. After all, even in real fishing, they are top bates.
If you havent gotten to blackblood, obsidian, star metal, then Acheronian Sickle. And dont focus on it. as a true run. just gather plants and seeds every time you get close to base. Even if you arent in enc build. 100 gruel is roughly 2.5 hours wop time. So 100 seed = @ 1 day (t4 time to finish on wheel). I do this with most resources. when i get close to base, i uarvest the orpn wood stone right there. do ot everytime and you end up with excess quickly.
