Just in case u havent seen it with socrery they introduced a magic circle build it an stock it with the required materials when u die spawn on ur bed at home bring ur body to you dont even waste time trying to find it your thrall that was following u will scout fir a bit an return home unharmed just trying to help i know its frustrating when u first start an are learning the new stuff but hey everyone here can help field questions an my dude we got u on gliches breath Its just fun ,more so when it works right agreed 100%lol

It sucks and I feel for you as one whose standard armor set was god eye, commander chest, brute gloves, and the vermin hide set for years…I have had to replace that set at least 10 different times…grinding out the city only to loose it because of glitches (mostly due to lag issues while in full gallop on a horse next to the green wall…suddenly I’m dead and my body was in the death zone. Watcha goin do?) But the truth is I enjoyed every moment of rebuilding that kit. I only stopped when SL medium and Dragonbone armors came into being and the bonuses for those were just as high as the legendary gear.

It’s part of the game mechanics and design, Lexa84, that you will keep losing your loot again and again, if you don’t finally learn to correctly assess your skills in the game. Get killed anyway and it may take you more than half an hour to get back to your carcass and lost everything meanwhile? … Welcome to Conan Exiles, that’s part of the game and not a bug!

This has nothing to do with a permanent beta phase on consoles, it’s just an old school game that challenges and “punishes” players when they overestimate themselves or make simply mistakes.
Like Kingdom Come: Deliverance invites us Conan Exiles too as players to live with the failures. A lot of other game developers these days are eschewing that attitude altogether and that’s why Conan Exiles is extremely popular with some players:
