I Genuinely Enjoy the Single Player For this Game

Funcom created a gem with Conan Exiles. I know it was made primarily with online multi player in mind,

But single player is not bad. Many gaming companies may add a weak single player for a game like Conan as an afterthought but Conan Exhiles single player is mostly the same as the multplayer as far as features.

I played the multiplayer but I’ve prefer the single player. There is just something more appealing about going it alone in the brutal survival environment of the Exiled lands.

It is true and i tottaly agree. Still all this loneliness some times is too much. At the beginning starting online and seeing builds on areas i use to farm, was really annoying. However the time past and i get used to it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Plus it was a nice reason to start searching all the biomes for resources and i realize that the farming is rich to all the biomes. Every different biome has something unique, something that the other biomes do not provide. Still whatever is not provided from the biomes it is provided by the npc loot. However the numbers are so low that you have to travel all over the map to get your needs. So yes this game is excellent single player, but if, just if you start online and meet the persons i was lucky to meet, your gaming experience will go to a different lvl. Trust me on this :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Really nice post dude, we really need this kind of posts this days, thank you :+1:

I started online but fell in love with the single player. I bought all the dlcs and for each one I made a fort where each one produces something. Don’t get me wrong, but people online just keep complaining about bugs that I rarely see in addition to other annoyances, like toxic players. I prefer to play my single player that I fell in love with

Whatever makes you happy my friend, after all this is gaming for, we play to relax and forget our problems, not to add more :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. It is true that online gaming has a lot of difficulties and sometimes it becomes problem, still we are not kids, and if we don’t like something we turn our backs easily. As i said a lot of times my belly is big but my stomach is small. Still the excitement this game will provide you playing with a team is awesome. I am not trying to tell you what to do, not at all, i am just sharing my experience for this game and it’s awesomeness, when playing with people you match and like. That’s all :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. I really wish to you to experience the things i’ve experience with this game and to meet the fantastic persons i’ ve meet with this game :+1:

I like the single player more indeed. I’m preferring (PVP) multiplayer but I enjoy(ed) Single player (PVE). This was a positive thing/update of Funcom.

I play on a server I run that may as well be singleplayer, considering nobody else goes there (and no one likely will, unless they feel like braving my 30+ mod gauntlet just to get on). I do wish I had others to play with sometimes, especially when it starts feeling less like a survival simulator and more like a loneliness simulator, but considering how disappointing the one time I did get to play it with a friend was I’m probably better off on my own.

I have about half the DLC and intend to get the rest when funds permit. At some point I may also get into a multiplayer game .

But for the moment , it’s just relaxing to pop on the game and go into single player/offline and enter the exiled lands. I can do what I want without the normal stresses that accompany all MMORPG.

Believe it or not, the game in this mode is good for relaxing. You can really get lost in your own world.

I get lost in my world that I created. I name each follower, grant titles, relax and live that wonderful world. My only wish would be funcom to give more life to the followers and then I would be the happiest man in the world

I would never have bought this game if it didn’t have a proper single-player mode. The fact that we can adjust the settings to our liking helps make the experience just right for each individual player, and on PC we even have access to a vast amount of cool mods.

I’ve had my share of MMO experiences, and at this point the only reason I’d ever get back would be for science, studying the evolution of online communities. (Even then, I might just choose camgirl sites instead of MMOs to do that. The average maturity of behavior and quality of communication skills seems to be approximately the same on both, anyway.)

I’m a solo player as well. To battle bouts of loneliness I would build a beautiful fortress, fill it with various leveled thralls, and then redesign my char through that option: et voila, my new char will have hostile neighbours nearby beside the usual NPC camps.

I used to play with 5 friends in the beginning of my CE adventure, but after the last massacre on the umpteenth server we had joined, they all quit playing. I must say that I love playing solo. No drama or strict rules, and more importantly, all the time in the world to discover and learn.
Keep enjoying the SP game, my friends!!!

I’m the same, I started with online, but went to single player, and I absolutely love it. I really and honestly do.

Ignored the game when it first came out because, at a glance, the game play seemed like too many other multiplayer survivor games (With a Conan theme), and with my work schedule there’s no room for a game that needs constant upkeep.

Then I saw it on the Playstation Plus list and decided to at least look at it cause it was free. Found out how deep the single player experience was and got hooked. Finally upgraded my rig last year and moved up to higher-end PC capabilities and love it more.

Really glad they worked to build both a SP and MP experience into the game. Hope for more of that in the future.

I too love playing in singleplayer.

Building my little towns. Catching Thralls and pets. Going in expeditions to explore, get resources or level my followers, fighting against the purges.

Tons of fun! Hopefuly they will add in the future more options regarding the Thralls, so I can make more lively towns.
