Totally. I used to do this all the time. If you have a elevated base and need a fast way down without and elevator just make a circle with all downward facing roof wedges and jump into it from any height and take no fall damage.
My friend says he usually hates jumping puzzles too. I said, “But this isn’t a jumping puzzle…it’s a LANDING puzzle”.
