I swear PVE got No game? 😢

I swear PVE people got NO GAME AT ALL. Playing the game on basically the easiest difficulty level at single player capacity but they gotta be online official….which confuses the $£!@ outta me coz all they seem to do is complain about all the other players. I surmise that they just want to be online with other people so they complain and hopefully somebody will listen to them but all in all it seems like such a collective misery.
Who needs 65 thralls? Makes no sense. Max clan size is 10 so even if you got raided by a full clan and each guy had a thrall that’s still only 20 attackers. Then maybe a horse and of course you guys gotta have ur pets. Maybe a turtle or bird or both, who knows. I’m still at like 35-40 is a hood cap after you add a few crafters to the mix(who can also now fight). I play pvp bc I can’t get that in a single player mode , or on a PVE server but you guys could totally just do EXACTLY what you’re doing now in your single players and have the whole map to yourself with nobody else to complain about or complain about you…. Ever consider private servers those hosts usually do their admin duties pretty good considering they want you to stay and play on their server so if you complain to them then somebody might actually listen to you. Score, right? Or you a couple of you guys could get together and pitch in all this money you’re no longer going to give to FC and just get your own private sever and set it to what ever update you want.

I think you guys just like to complain

Actually, why don’t you guys do something for me. Your base isn’t going anywhere, not for 2 weeks anyways. It’s safe. The thralls could probably use a break from all the “oh poor me” jargon. So go hop on a PvP server. You don’t gotta fight, unless they catch you. So don’t get caught :man_shrugging: In pvp it’s actually just fun to creep around and scavenge and be invisible for a reason. You get the immersion of it. You feel the excitement and sometimes e maybe even a little fear. You make mistakes. But you don’t give up, you learn from it and do it better. You acquire enemies! People will legitimate reason to go full send hate on them and you won’t feel a shred of sympathy for them about it. Other people will just make you feel bad, you’ll see them making the same mistake you made and you’ll want to help them but in pvp you don’t trust anyone coz it could be a trick so you roll the dice…or just go kill them yourself so you at least you can give them a quick death and teach them the lesson and take their stuff or don’t take their stuff. It’s totally your call. You get to surrender that illusion of control that you presume have and need and just let your imagination take over. What will you do Exike?

Here’s some PvP starter tips, which may or may not occur to you.
You do not need a home right away. So don’t be in a hurry to build a little stone box. Stay nomadic for a while.
Run up and down the river at least once. Look for raided bases. You’ll know by the big hole in side or fact that it doesn’t have walls and roof anymore. You’re looking for benches that you can use and maybe even a stable.
Next what do you need first? A good weapon. So once you decide you’re ready to move in from the river Set City or the Mounds is best way to get a good weapon. I usually go to Mounds and knock out a C1 fighter and get a star metal weapon. Supermeru is a little tougher, all the dam adds and daggers.
And also don’t forgot to attune you the in’s when you can , you probably haven’t had to do that for a while now so it’s real easy to forget but there will usually be open map rooms. People will try to keep their maps closed but other people don’t like that and have bombs.

Please don’t tell me you’re finished. Your trolling is higher quality than what these forums usually get, so it’s proving to be quite entertaining

wall of text , no paragraphs , pass

But to one point, I need all the fighters and dancers and bearers to put them in the bench slots, so my workshop doesn’t look empty while the cragfters are opening and closing doors.
So my Dalinsia is now a pretend blacksmith

Maybe this is too much.

Just a wee bit.

It all boils down to personal preference. I don’t pvp because getting zurged by the same clan across servers doesn’t do it for me.

People complaining about workers disappearing kinda have that right because the settlements are not working as intended.

@CodeMage nothing I said up there is trilling. Everything I said to *most of the complaining PvE guys is facts. There’s no realistic reason for them to play this game online. Just look at all the MANY threads about too many people in PvE e servers. I’m not trying to be mean. I am being a little sympathetic to FC for all of it. I mean come on, it’s gotta be like having 1000 whiny 5 year olds. And now is actually a good time to get a foot hold on a pvp server while all the disgruntled “toxic wannabe alpha makes” are hiatus. But you go ahead and keep trollin me if you wAnt. It’s fine bc I’ve realized that you’re actually not as smart as user name implies.

Any PVPer complaining about PVE players needs to realize something. YOU’RE THE MINORITY HERE. Most players DON’T want to PVP. The few that do are sweaty try-hard that RUIN it for people just trying it out to see what it’s like. And because you’re a sweaty try-hard who doesn’t know chill, has no decorum, and doesn’t know the meaning of restraint, you ruin it for those players that are just dipping their toes in.

PVPers LITERALLY destroy their own community, because you get no new players, because the aforementioned lack of decorum and restraint.

So don’t complain there’s “too many PVE players”. You destroy your OWN minority community, and then complain that there are too many in the majority. Go eff yourselves.

When I first saw this topic, I read it and laughed. But now I will get into the topic

First of all, you should know that when you play the game locally, there is an extra load on the PC. So playing on the server is a must for performance. Or you need a very good computer and cooler.

That’s why the game is played from the server, not locally  think about it a bit. What could be the reason? Some processes take a lot of time and this process stops completely when you exit the toy. I’m talking about the translation “steel reinforce”. and this is just an example. While playing with your friend, you cannot move away from the admin. If he dies in a fight, you will be teleported to him. and this is very disturbing.

I take you seriously and answer you with all the reasons

Set it to official in the server list. then set pvp. then sort by number of players. and you will see 1 server 30+ but all other servers are empty. This is because the number of pvp players is low. and they choose a server and play there to do pvp. After all, there is no pvp alone

When you set pve, you will see that many servers are full. not the only one. Not 2. not the 10th. pull down. PVE servers are always full. There are people who play all the time. The reason for this is that there are people who use the game to surpass the opponent in PVP. It is a great thing that there are many players who want to play in an environment where there are no hateful people and there is cooperation.

pvp lovers. They use the game to humiliate the opposing player. Even if it’s a good fight. It was easy to write. Instead of blowing it up and getting out with what they need, they throw everything on the ground. They even kill all the slaves even if it is not necessary. Then why are there so few players in pvp? are you serious ? Why are there more players in pve? are you serious?

Also, the survival style requires a lot of time. And how will someone who comes tired from work and plays to rest compete? Those who do not have as much time as their competitors. or those that are not crowded. What about the use of cheating in pve and you can’t do anything with cheating? But cheating is very effective in pvp. You should be thankful that there is still a human server playing pvp.

Don’t underestimate people. Don’t surpass people. Be kind to people. Maybe one day pvp will revive  I would like to point out that there are very experienced master players on pve servers.

The options were either “fool” or “troll”. I opted for the latter because I didn’t want to assume the former.

It’s not about being mean, it’s about condescending bullshіt from someone who has no idea what they’re talking about.

If I opened up a thread slagging PVP people for complaining about the balance and the meta, and then proceeded to give them advice on where and how to play, I would come across just as ridiculous as you did with this thread.

You wanna talk about PVE players? Try to understand them first.

Wait, wait, WAIT!

Some rando complaining about how other folks play a game?

THE HORROR!

My life, now, has no meaning and I am but a shadow, waiting to be claimed by Hades.

Sadface.

No, no, no, some rando complaining about how other folks complain.

Apparently, if you’re complaining about the serial refreshers with gigantic theme parks, you’re a “whiny 5 year old”, but if you’re demanding from Funcom to bring the spear meta back, then you’ve “got game”.

I haven’t seen a PVP vs PVE post is quite a while.

Anyways yes yes yes PVP master race blah. You are the only one that knows how to play the game blah. There isn’t toxicity on official pvp just whiny weaklings blah…ummmm…oh and FC never takes into consideration PVP needs and PVE has no right to add to topics of PVP even if it would affect their game blah.

Is that about it? You want people to play PVP? Fine. Get everyone to stop teabagging (and the mentality that goes with that) and we can talk. Until then, continue to have fun with your toxic soup.

@Draconys that is honestly one of the most cowardly responses one could expect. You’re basically saying I’m wrong just because there’s more of you? C”coward” or the option references female genitalia, either 1 applies.

@CodeMage you still haven’t actually made an argument as to why I’m a fool or troll. You just kinda sit in the big crowd like @Draconys presuming to look down from your higher horse than mine I suppose. But at least I made my case. It was all valid. What do you get from official online PvE that you don’t get in single player except for neighbors that most of you dislike and just want to push out anyways? It reeks of entitlement.

Anyways , next pvp server tip: stink hole and brimstone. Always be weary when teleporting to either of these obs. Consider them high traffic areas and if you see anyone when pop out the other just know that these people WILL chase you from the volcano to Dagons embrace without ever giving up the chase.

This is a massive braindead argument I’m sorry.
Funcom has killed the PvP community not the players, the players are the ones trying to keep it afloat the last couple of years while Funcom have done all in their power to keep the weird kids that only play PvE happy by slowly making PvP less and less skillful so people that find killing the bosses in the game hard can have a chance at feeling like they are good if they decided to try PvP.

But that’s neither here nor there I really just wanted to reply here to ask you what the purpose of “PvP” is on a game? In my opinion it’s competing against other players to see who can raid who and have fun raids and fights, not sitting at noob river or the highlands in a pretty looking castle singing kumbya with every naked that comes off the cross.
