Increase LV cap to 100

No to the 4 points after 60, and I’d be cool with a level 70 cap with the current skill point increase because i could get a pvp and pve build that I’d be comfortable with. If we could eventually get to level 100 that would be cool too.

I think this is entirely about you being just a few points from a all-in-one build that you like which would defeat the purpose of build diversity. Rearrange, add more altogether, it doesn’t matter. There are already some very known builds out there because they have great strengths collectively. It’d make those builds stand out even more if we gave anyone more attribute points.

There are already too many potential attribute points already in game, Id hate to see anymore added no matter how its done. Levels in this game mostly restrict you from crafting the good gear. The levels themselves don’t add much however and I’m fine with that because it makes balance easier to address.

Idk why people talk about balance. If everyone is able to obtain the perks and that in an of itself balances itself out. And the only thing I would be able to do at level 70 is get another 3rd tier and probably another 2nd tier perk. Because of how many skill points you have to put in to a “attribute/skill tree” every 5 points or so.

When they do add 61-100 I don’t want to hear any of you complaining. I offer a balance. But no one reads. Skill points are nothing. Keep complaining about big tribes. I offer a solution. More skill points = less tribe mates you need. Any smart players out there? By reading the damn topic. By reading the topic my idea helps small tribes and single players.

It 4 stat points after 60. I don’t care how many skill points you get after LV 60. Stat points are strength and etc.

Stat points are not skill points. Skill points are used on recipes. They have zero impact on your stats. Say Stat perks. They aren’t consider skills. Perks are passive and always on.

Not sure about an increase to level 100… maybe to level 70. OR, my preferred method, award stat and feat points for completing chapters of the journey. We should be able to max out at least two stats, with a few secondary stats at the two to three perk range.

Nope. My idea only allows 2 stats with max and zero in everything else. My idea is balance.

Why ? lvl 60 is good, having new content balanced for lvl 60 is better. A max content for lvl max…Also, the whole game is balanced for 60 lvl, no need more lvl, I don’t know why it would be interesting to have more levels…

Sounds perfect!
But then it would require the journey to be fixed… (light armor, anyone?)
Actually, getting any reward on completing chapters would be neat!

My question is:
Why would we need a max level of 100?
Why did we need the risen cap from 50 to 60?
What good comes/came off it?
The only reason in favor of higher levels is making it harder for low leveled people to compete with high level/maxed players.
Other than that, i.e. in case of how long we take to reach lvl 50/60/100, the rewarded exp might just as well be rebalanced. I think its bad to reach lvl 60 in under 10 hours.
And of course we got more stat points to spend… But I think we got plenty right now.
If you want more statpoints, kindly ask Funcom to make it steps for the three qualities. For normal versions to grant +1, exceptional +2 and flawless +3. Not like now with +1, +1 and +2.

More Levels= More skill points.

I think they are enough skill point with 60 lvl. And it how devs wanted to balance their game, and hoiw they adjuste all things in the world map.

Need more skill points. A new sword or ect doesn’t make you op.

in single player, you can play with mods. Lot of mods are design to rebalance the game for single player experience.
Also, you can give you skill point with admin panel…
add lvl would afect also multiplayer experience…

A Survival game shouldn’t even need levels, thats mmorpg thing, survival should rely on skill alone, you are capable of getting into that difficult region with dangerous mobs and manage to survive there, craft and all? Bam! Done!

( presuming the AI would work greatly)

But this game is designed to have rpg mechanics, with character evolution and perks. So having lvl to have a personalised character, it’s ok…anf the game design of the game make sens with that. But having too many lvl is bad, it make too diferences between players, between areas…Personnaly, I would prefer less lvl and less difficulty difrerence between differents areas…

It’s not a way to balance, don’t give stat points since 60 is. Current amount of stat points already gives ability to be overpowered in PvE.

Oh and where are these ps4 mods? I prefer my games without mods. Like a true gamer.

Dota 2 is considered an MMO - they have 10 people playing at a time max together…

mmo doesn’t mean all players playing together at once… it means it has a large community online of players. learn what things mean before trolling.

in that case, might as well add Destiny, Cod and anything else with a massive online community… oh wat that would mean all online games are a mmo. Or when peopple talk about MMO’s they are actually talking about MMORPG which DOTA and Conan are definatly not :wink: this is just my opinion though.

Getting back to the OP, I see where you are trying to go, but like others have said to increase the lvl cap it really also needs increased content. now if they doadd tougher dungeons etc i think your way makes sense, Personally i like the game as is, but do wish for tougher dungeons and if they bring sorcery in (which i think they are saving for a paid DLC) tougher dugeons and even a map expansion could pave way for this.
