I want to increase the max stat at level 60 to 500 total stat points. That 117 more stat points. Keep max level 60. Just increase the max stat cap.
You can actually go up to 500 quite easily all you have to do is to go take a walk in the unnamed city. You don’t even need a weapon or a thrall to do it.
That feat points. Stat points are vitality, strength, grit, agility, encumbrance , survival and accurately.
Oh my bad miss read that one then. But even so what is the goal behind the idea? To allow people get and extra third tier perk to remove some of the choice you do need to make while selecting you gears/attributes points.
Well I for one wouldn’t mind being able to max out three stats with nothing left over, or two with the rest sprinkled around so I get what I value most out of the deal… (For a pure archer I’d probably want to be able to max out stamina and accuracy, and possibly encumbrance or split the rest between encumbrance and strength… That way I can carry enough ammo to not have to worry about running out of ammo mid fight, have enough stamina to try to keep a safe distance and of course accuracy so I can hit what I’m shooting at.)
/sigh… you just can’t get satisfied with limitations can you Bryan? First was feat points, now stats, whats next besides Sorcery? Mounts?
For real, I rather have an overhaul on perks, more stat points means more imbalance because this will lead to stronger builds, and Dragonball Z on CE won’t be fun.
You just cant dump stat points willie nillie.
You would have to overhaul the entire system, armors, Im sure FUncom is dog paddling along, dont drop a brick on their back.
warpaints, food, potions, gear. All have +# to different stats. Find what suits u and use it.
390 points when 60.
I’d personally remove all temporary buffs (annoying feature) and increase max level to 65.
You’ll have 455 attribute points to spend which is okay in my opinion.
This would be an example build with 455 points:
You may say now this is not more than usual. Yes that is correct. But important is, that those advantages from temporary buffs are gone, which are pure luxury. That’s one step to remove the gap between normal max level players and long time max level players with thousands of gear and buffs in their base.
So u want to get rid of the grind and work ppl put in to get the paints, potions, or to craft the armors they need for their build. The way the game is set up. Once you hit 60 your on a lvl playing field. Your hard work is what gets u better after that.
LEts be honest, there was such a dry player period, getting all the stuff for buffs was not a grind. it was a daily. This is one thing that will keep CE from ever gaining new players in general. They know when they log in, they are months, even a year behind in material storage. So they decide to find something else to play. I am all for grinding out stuff. My problem lies in that none of the high tier stuff has a decay rate. Especially PVP raid. The whole idea of that server was for raiding each other. But it is basically a hoarders paradise now because of the low player numbers on some servers. And the active ones are mainly exploiters. And honestly, i can;t blame the exploiters for trying to play catch up.
Thank you for pointing that out again.
Removing temp buffs also let’s you get to PvP quicker on private servers with seasons. And that is what most players are up to.
My favorite armor on my male Character Bryan Skull is silent legion. The set a plus two to all stats.
117 more stats points could be added at lower levels 2-30 gaps of power and skill points.
More stats points to have an even 500.
It takes 275 stat points to max out a stat. 275x7= 1925 stats points to have max stats.
An increase is needed.
Nothing in what you just posted show why it would be “needed” More of something doesn’t automatically make it better. In my opinions too much points would make it worst since it would remove a side of the game where you do need to think about what gears to use and why. Which consumable to carry around to match what you choose to pick stat wise for a given project/goals.
Small reward for a hard grind would be nice. Perhaps removing your braclet allows you an extra point or two per level on your remade character.
Or like the Fragments of Power, but limit it to a few low end perks worth of “boost”. So people could get the “hard worker” perk with their “other” builds, and enjoy that little QoL improvment.
Think of it as a long term effect. We keep max lv cap 60. Increase max stats points to 500. Add 110 points to levels 2-30. Empowering the weak. Allowing Noobs to defend themselves from spawn killers.
Or we do my idea. Making everyone able to fight spawn killers.
Agreed, the stats are pretty decently balance as far as having to pick a “build”. the perks need to be more, for lack of a better word, exaggerated. Not crazy, but the accuracy 40 is an example of the right direction. Agility plus 4 armor per tick also is decent, as if you go 40 on that, you get 160 armor points. I read that the armor pen does not affect that part of the rating, but i have not seen confirmation. (somewhere there is a thread on reddit or something). Basically it says the 10% is taken off the actual armor, so any agility armor you have is not reduced by the armor pen when calculating. Interesting read. I have started to try and delve into the sabre-metrics and create a google doc that will auto fill calculated damage against armor types and guess of the opponents stat build.
But back on topic… I think stat and level are okay. FoP takes care of any need to add feat points, and elixirs and other perks add to the atts as needed and earned (grinded).
