Has anyone heard from funcom? I haven’t needed to file a ticket thankfully but I was generally curious if they were gonna do another update or at least update the bazaar.. but I haven’t even seen any update regarding the usual events. I saw the bounty hunters like 2 weeks ago but I didn’t even know they’d be active since the last post about them that I see dates to April.
Do they take the whole summer as vacation?
Short answer: yes, but don’t expect anything more than a bare minimum.
The long answer is that the Conan Exiles team has been pretty much gutted so that Funcent can focus on Dune. Hacking is worse than ever, support is non-existent, communication is almost non-existent and generally happens on Discord long before it ever makes it to the forums, and the forums are pretty much abandoned after being misconfigured.
But hey, there’s a new update coming and I’m sure a handful of people will praise Funcom’s efforts.

…agree. If Andy has pinned this thread to the announcement, it implies a response: “Yes, we’re still here,” I would have preferred a slightly more explicit answer though.
Anyways, lets be positive bcos a small candle lit in the dark is always better than no light at all.
He’s just here to announce the scheduled update people have forgotten about, that circled day on the calendar came up, nothing more.
You ought to take a look at how they have handled their previous titles, they just marched Conan down that same path and Dune will be following soon enough.

When do you think they will update the launcher? Its still announcing the May hotfix and the 7th anniversary.

Oh no. Age of Conan does not get updates at all. Not even bug fixes. Not in years! Just using the launcher for the game gives you an error message (just ignore it and it launches, but the game has been that way FOR YEARS AND THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO FIX IT. So they are still putting more effort into Conan Exiles than their other older games, and that is shocking.
No, he hasn’t. When you link across threads from post A to post B, the forum software automatically adds a backlink from post B to post A.
So it seems like they’re more active and updating on their X or Bluesky accounts and those news tend to travel to the discord channel much more than here.
