Is it intended that rocknoses now have like 0 armor?

See title.
Since the patch, rocknoses seems to be much more squishier than before.
Is this an intended change?

You’re aren’t using a weapon with greater armour penetration than before, are you?

LOL, I dont think so, came up with tahat name especially for this game.

I use the same old 24 dmg, 24% Armor penetration Katana like I always have.

24% is pretty decent so it may be that your just seeing the effect of the last player vs npc power rebalance for Age of War. Its also possible that there is a damage bug but it kinda depends on your agility, your armor, your perks.

The whole AoW time I always included one normal rocknose on every thrall-leveling run (2-3times a week) It took a lot more time to kill one. Beside, my friend killed one with a wooden sword (5 dmg, 5% armor pen. and 20 strength) in 15 hits.

By the way, its only the normal rocknoses that have that “problem”.

I used the Rocknoses at Sandscour pass for testing, there’s no difference between chapters 2 and 3 with regard to how quickly they die.

8 heavy strikes.
20 light strikes.

edit: this was done with 0 points in agility.

Used the same weapon as you, a katana with 24 damage and 24% armour pen.

Thank you for testing. Interesting, I kill them with 3 heavy hits, But I have 9 Agility and +9% dmg through armor. Oky, so it seems they had their armor decreased on some point. Thank you!

So OP is 100% correct, even nailed the exact armor value they have (lol)… Most likely the reason others testing didn’t notice is that this applies only to the “stock” rocknose… the classic rock one :stuck_out_tongue: All the other color variations (black / white / silver / ice / etc.) have their own presets and still have several thousand armor.
