I was online today, visited all three servers and noticed all of my fishtraps on every server were empty, no fish, no decay, just empty.
I checked for bug reports of this and did not find any.
Official servers, no mods, no problems, pre 2.5.
Or am I just going crazy?

For what it’s worth, they were working for me today in singleplayer - which doesn’t rule out the possibility of a bug…
Edit: I should add - that’s the ‘deep sea fisher’ traps, rather than basics, in case that makes a difference.

Wait, what did I miss? Did they restore passive fish production for fish traps?

Not that I’m aware of - mine were baited. I assumed JJDancer’s were as well.

Oh, I see, so the problem is that they were baited on previous login, but the event log doesn’t show decay?
In 2.5, they lengthened the decay time for fish and compost heaps (which still needs to be baited), meaning you no longer have to babysit the trap to prevent your fish from disappearing. I double checked mine today and they are working fine. @JJDancer did you try relogging?

No, I am just the biggest idiot ever. . . LOL.
I totally forgot you had to bait them, shows how much I use fishtraps these days.

If you want to do fishing for cooking recipes it’s ok. If however you need them for oil or ichor, other methods are way more effective. If you need help for other methods just tag me
