I was trying to harvest a queen bee for the brewer journey quest step. I have harvested hundreds of aloe bushes without getting a single drop. I have 500 aloe potion crafting on the bench and have 100 stacks aloe potion and 55 stacks raw aloe plant in vault from the amount of bushes I have harvested. I think that is beyond bad luck and maybe the queen bee is bugged and not dropping. I harvested using a full iron sickle until it broke, and then made a steel sickle and harvested until it nearly broke all to no effect. I tried harvesting with a pickaxe for a while, to no effect. I tried harvesting by hand a handful of times, to no effect.

There is another thread about this because of the journey step. People are having mixed results with different techniques. Try locating the thread

Queen Bees have a 1% drop chance from Aloe plants and Yellow / Black / Crimson lotus plants and they only drop when using the sickle…
That should give you an idea that it’s probably just bad RNG and you should keep trying, 1% is not that easy to hit…

Oh that explains why I had a few dozen coming out of the jungle. Found the purple lotus spot and went nuts.
