When you try to make something the items dissapeared and nothing is left in the armory or if you try to get something in you’re chest it will disappear everything it’s very frustrating when you barely starting and you’re valuables disappear.
i have never experienced such issue. could it be that you are playing on a pvp server and you haven’t locked your chests allowing basically anyone to come and take what they need or don’t need.
Check your Event Log. Were the items taken?

Are you playing in Single Player? Online PVE / PVP ?
How exactly are you crafting the item, and to which particular item(s) are you referring to?
As speedice suggested, is there any relevant information in the Event Log?
For me its my temple or ymir who vanish level 3 full of arrow and two set of armor .
