As lackluster of an anniversary reward was a reskinned Watcher armor set, not getting anything because it is just the 2022 drop again is disappointing.
Not surprising, but disappointing.
Luckily, Twitch still counts down and I can still claim the reward I already have, because, reasons.
Free items are free items, and new items cost money to make so i can see why it just comes back instead of getting something new, but still lol.
It is an anny event right?
Though tbh, i am more irritated you have to make an account or some bull crap with some lame social media platform to get any of these “free” items that should just be evenly passed out to everyone through a pre-planned patch…
I am not going to make a social media account every time someone that makes a game wants to promote their media platform rather than just simply giving the items to everyone…
Exactly right. It just shows how funcom company doesnt care about old players.
Old player who already own the watcher drops, didn’t get anything, if anything, it made the set they already own less valuable, since now they give it again.
As an old player you had something special that others newer player didn’t have. Giving it out again, not just old player didn’t get any reward, it also took away that something special.
Twitch drops should always return in rotation for everyone to have a chance.
Bazaar should have every item sold available all the time.
Battle Pass should be limited, but all important skins should have a alternative sold in the Bazaar.
Items bought or achieved should be shareable again with player who do not.
Do you get the battle pass? You know that is a gimmick to pump up player count, right?
Agree.
Once again all skins are content BUT NOT ALL CONTENT IS SKINS
Being a CG artist I will argue this point vehemently.
You mean take away motivation to actually buy the items? That is the point.
If the movie industry could lock their DVDs to your and only your DVD player, so you couldn’t share them, they would. Same with video games, if there was any way to lock a game to the purchaser, they would; no DMR on PS1 and 2 games. Maybe the newer games, I’m sure they are trying.
