Just beat the entire game without taking any damage

Just beat the entire game without taking any damage, no medpack or cannibalism used, from tutorial to final fight on very hard difficulty.

I think the idea of killing stragglers with silent kills is pretty nice but for some zones it’s possible to isolate kill every single enemy, like the sea titan zone, house of bones, or horn of the devil, I feel like that shouldn’t be doable, and there should be a main fight for every zone, sneak killing so much even got a bit boring towards the end.

Bormin’s charge also made it possible to stealth kill a lot of high hp enemies, and made nova sect brothers a joke.

I’m not sure if it’s intended, but Selma’s root skill range is affected by throwing range, and it gets really far when Selma’s throw range is upgraded.

Feel like this game would be even more fun if there is an even higher difficulty.

Edit: added some tips and tricks I used as well as more videos on how I did certain fights.

Tips and tricks:

  1. You can sneak kill enemies when no one is “looking in the direction of the corpse”, even if the corpse is within their circle, this mechanic is not well explained by the game, and once you understand this whole line of sight thing, most enemies in the game can be sneak killed, the house of bone video below will show this to a degree.

  2. You can find a lot of good items by sneaking into high level zones, this game encourage you to do so by not having guards guarding the items. For example, at the start before hammond’s cabin, you can take a tour at the iron serpent and scrap yard, you’ll find a lot of weapon parts as well as an artifact and slinger gun, don’t need to kill anything. After hammond’s cabin, a rambino gun can be stolen from lair of the horned devil zone to the north east, I got mine at level 9 or so, after house of bones, you can sneak kill a few robots with emp shot at metal fields and then stealth to the grogg den for one of the best guns in the game.

  3. Skills can be used during ambush, and i’m not only talking about bormin’s charge extending sneak attack turns, selma can do guaranteed 100% crit double shot with her pistol for 10 x 2 damage if given high ground, farrow and dux can use moth wing to get height to land crit shots, or to reach 100% hit chance against enemy guard in towers, and if you really want to push it, drop chem flare for double shots on regular ground after bormin charge.

  4. Rush artifacts, the damage bonuses and crit bonus are all really useful, the one in scrapyard can be stolen without having to kill anything, and the one in lair of the horned devil is obtainable as soon as the hunters are sneak killed, use chem flare if you really want to rush it early.

  5. Make good use of skills, root skills are extremely powerful when you have high ground and full cover, demonstrated in some of the videos below, because enemies have 0% chance to hit, (-75% from full cover and -25% from height), Ironskin doesn’t take an action, so you can ironskin, taunt and shoot all in the same turn, useful when doing some tank encounters with no high ground nearby. Moth wing gives height accuracy bonus, useful when paired with the other skills that lowers accuracy. Double shot is really good and farrow’s aoe shot is situational but still good.

  6. Make good use of items, hand grenade destroys cover, molotov adds 25% accuracy bonus, chem flare adds accuracy bonus without alerting enemies, and smoke blocks vision. I personally used 2 hand grenades, 1 molotov and 1 chem flare in my run. There are also a lot of useful armor pieces, one that makes the wearer immune to lightning damage/mind control, good against nova sect, one that makes the wearer immune to charge attacks, good for bormin tanking ghoul tank’s charges under ironskin, one that makes the wearer immune to fire damage, good against pyros, and there are some useful crit/range weapon mods.

  7. The mind control guy’s mind control is unreliable, I don’t use him at all.

Ok man unless you show me the last fight on plutonia+the grey one or you’r ■■■■■■■ lair because with 3 full tier silent weapons some enemies wont die even with Bormin stun skill and attacked him 6 rolls and killed him you need to charge it with 3 kills and tank ghouls wont be stunned and tell me about the spear of heaven and the forbidden city.
if i was wrong correct me plz

I could go on and on, not gonna bother recording grey one because that’s the easiest and most boring fight, since you can silent kill every hunter in the camp while grey one is checking on the robot, then silent kill the pyro on the tower with double moth wing, then kill the tank with loud weapon double shot, then go back to kill grey one with bormin’s charge + selma double shot, he won’t even get a single skill off, really underwhelming tbh. (you can get 27 silent damage by giving dux the 20% crit hat, then farrow and dux both have 100% crit chance, and crit for 10 damage each with moded and upgraded silent weapons, and third one hit for another 7 damage)

This game didn’t do a good job at explaining how silent kill works, you can kill someone with silent weapons and as long as no one is “looking in the corpse’s direction”, it’s still considered silent, even if the corpse is inside the enemy’s circle.

But yea, once you figure out how sneak attack actually works in this game, this game really has no difficulty at all, since every zone almost everything is sneak killed, I only had to use 2 hand grenade, 1 molotov and 1 chem flare this entire run. I’m considering doing a run without using silent weapons at all, figured that might be challenging.

Then my friend I apologise for calling you a liar i was so triggered

If you go loud, with example the tank you mentioned, does that alert everyone on the map? Or just nearby ones?

Just “nearby” ones, but it’s still a very large area, in the grey one’s case it works because he walks pretty far into the building, so using loud weapons won’t pull him, but if he is outside by the artifact then he’ll aggro.
