this is incredible. i’ve been in fury for years, i’ve moved to crom, where the game is supposedly active, as you have been able to see in my post class discussion i understand almost perfectly how the DT works, and i’m asking how to improve and learn because in raids i’m not a master yet. and out of 68 visits nobody answers which set is the best to transition, (although i’ve already seen guides etc, thanks) then i ask things about the raids and nobody is clear enough to say that i should focus on this or that, less some with a discord where people are very kind. i repeat, i’ve been in fury for years, trying to improve, but the community kind of ignores everything, when you’ve seen that starting from the gear i have, i’m already halfway to getting in officially with equipment for t5-t6. 2-3 weeks of T4 and i have full gear. but no. it’s like people don’t want to help. and the one in the thread who was talking to me, Mori, seems to have run out of words or doesn’t know how to answer me. that I’ve gotten this far, at this point and not have support, really, IT’S A SHAME. that people who work in this don’t help because everything happens, IT’S A SHAME. it takes a long time to get here. I’ve been coming since before the SAGA servers, I have ALTS, other accounts… but in Raids and endgame of crom I ask for help and people don’t do anything, OK. I love Age of Conan but this way it puts anyone off playing. I’ve killed a lot of vendettas in fury and I’ve had a much better time there than in Crom, especially this last season. It’s a shame that such a good mmorpg doesn’t support humble players who are trying to improve and the community only cares about separating them. well, I’ll tell you one thing. in other games I’m 3000 times better than you for you to go around with that air. whoever wants to, I’ll invite you and you can check it out one by one. so goodbye age of conan for a long time at least in crom, either you change or the game is dead. how about 2 rare trophies a day in solo dungeons and the faction gear asks for almost 300, on top of that i ask for runs for dungeons with rare trophies and nobody does anything. you are just nothing. i’m leaving very happy to have come this far, the road was very good but now honestly i’m over it, the community is very rotten. see you later!

Look, I’ll be blunt: the game, as it stands now, is garbage if you expect a community that actually supports you or a logical and rewarding progression system. Crom is full of people doing their own thing, raids and dungeons depend on groups that can’t be bothered to help, and the rare trophy system is a bad joke: 2 a day from solo dungeons when you need almost 300 for decent gear. If you want to return, go ahead, but keep in mind you’ll have to grind like crazy and, unless you find a decent group (which is rare), it’s going to be frustrating. I’ve stuck around for years, I improved, but the community is so toxic it kills any desire to keep playing. I’d recommend trying other MMORPGs with more active and supportive communities. Are you sure you really want to return to this?
There are some guilds that still do lower tier raids. Dungeons are not commonly run anymore unless you can find a consistent group. Most people do onslaught, raid finder and world boss and not much else.
I’ve gotta ask ‘did you join any guilds?’. Because that’s where you’ll find the help you’re looking for - on the guild channel.
Like you said ‘Crom is full of people doing their own thing’ so why should they stop playing to answer your pretty indepth questions? Maybe they’re on a time limit, maybe they’re trying to complete something, maybe they’re just not in a spot where they can stop and yak for an hour or so OR since Discord seems to be all the rage now, they’re just not paying that much attention to the games chat channels.
It’s one thing to pause and type ‘WB is at X instance’ or ‘that NPC is over by Y’ which I see all the time.
But long windy answers? Not really the place on Global or NPH. Ask if anyone will message you the information or Join a guild and ask. You’ll generally find someone not doing anything that’ll answer.
OR like you said use Discord or join a Facebook AoC group. Post here or on the Steam AoC discussion (although neither get much use).
I think it’s more of a problem Where you’re asking, than the fact you are asking as I’ve been in the same place and have never found Global or NPH useful for your kinds of questions.
There used to be a actual new player ‘advice’ / Trial channel but no one uses it anymore. When players tested out the game back in the 2 weeks free days that’s the only channel they had access to and it got a lot of use in the way you’re asking.
no no… i don’t want deep answers, just light notes to know certain mechanics of certain dungeons/raids. and people from my own guild, insulting, saying, kick this idiot out, in the middle of the raid. me, who am not a fckn random as you could see in my other post, they want mega pro people but at the same time they put you down. asking one thing and answering like that, continuing to fail when other people fail too but they are more “favorites” and they don’t say anything to them, you ask for help for groups and nothing, i’ve been in spartans, in gold rank, okay, but due to inactivity i wasn’t there anymore (logical) it’s one of the few quality guilds and it’s not that easy to get into. so i’m speaking with knowledge of the cause. either you do the 4 typical things that everyone does, or 80% of the game is stopped. for example, i know theoretically by heart how to tank chaos, i’ve done it a long time ago. but of course, if you haven’t done it like 80 times and it’s known like that, they put. EXP and nothing and you don’t enter and so on. only T4, T3, T2, T1, with schedules, not so often, a few times a week, and adapt to when the guild says. but I, wanting to do the remaining 85% of the game, can’t because people simply ignore your ass. so that in these conditions, with the few people there are, everything is so elitist and intransigent, and it takes months to build a single set, I sincerely pass 
. and even less receive insults and shit from a player trying to do things right. COME ON MAN. and not one person, the group in general. if it were a random ok but not being like that. they eat shit that clear. and that pvp is in crom, as they said, in minis, SINCE WHEN HAHAHAH. age of Conan I wish it was what it once was. But no, unfortunately it’s not what it used to be. I don’t owe anyone anything. I’ve played national championships in other games, I know what it’s like to learn and improve mechanics, so I know what I’m talking about.
or what they say later in the group chat instead of helping they say. you would have contributed more if you had been afk, (in my own guild chat after the raid!!!). and more things, instead of trying to help some like me who honestly have almost no one left. everyone goes insta 80 they don’t even get to blue gear . I’m not below anyone and I don’t give a shit about all those people, to be like this, I’m in fury, you fight with people and bye and you have a better time, but here to be like this to swallow shit, and that nobody corrects the people of the guild who say that, even after when you can talk about how to improve? well well . if I stay I would be dumb . I made quite a few achievements in their day. some are good people, but in general the game like this thanks to the community has become eternally long and impossible to sustain with people like that
Well a) even I (who doesn’t raid) know you don’t ask how to do the raid … in the middle of the raid so that’s on you. b) sounds like you’re in the wrong guild and if that’s how they treat you why would you even stay?
I’m not sure if you mentioned it but have you advertised your own LFG? Where you say ‘I don’t want to lead’, ‘I’m learning / never done before’ or ‘I’m trying to get X gear’?
And I’m not sure if what you’re asking for could really be covered in ‘light notes’.
