However, unintentionally can be enmeshed. Before the change, I had to smash my face into the mesh to try and remove pieces. I’d build very intentionally, often complex PVP defensive bases and it just happens. I’ve also removed bases with accidental foundations left behind and I had to stay away until they decayed, and in some cases in the past, god the location.
Knowing the building system, having submitted bug reports about this very stuff, super unpredictable with lag spikes, complex builds causing snap point jumps, etc.,…
I agree with you that there could be intentional building abuse happening with almost anything, but, 1 foundation ain’t a good indicator especially without at least a bit of prior civic due diligence.
It’s on Funcom to find ways to stop this thing, not on players
We are all kinda tired,or frustrated, or whatever with players that doesn’t respect others and abuse the building mechanism. Or any other mechanism that gives the player the “right” to destroy server performance and stability.
But we ain’t cops neither snitches! We are players.
And the thing i found highly hypocritical on how zendesk was acting was the fact that they were punishing in a server the one that got reported and not all the actual violations that existed in the server.
Then again you must understand that some violations become by accident and not necessarily intentional . Not all players know or understand the rules of official servers and tbh i belong to these players too , i “think” i got it , I am not 100% sure.
Last but not least… it’s how they have fun … the other players… and if i don’t fancy their style, nothing gives me the right to stubb them on their back .
Play the game as a player who wants to have fun and respect how others have fun as well.
