Is using a map room above a trebuchet tower so players can not easily enter an exploit?

Genuinely questioning because it’s been in the game so long now ?

Maprooms are not a public thing, I mean it’s nice on PVE when people set them close to obelisks, but they don’t have to be public.

Hmm, what was it encased in? Wouldn’t it be easier to destroy the sides or bottom?

So the build design is counting on the “empty” portion of map room to allow treb function correctly while giving it protection? Nice.

I don’t see it as an exploit any more than someone using pillars through the map room or an elevator coming up through it. Besides, as Kiki points out, your sides are still vulnerable.

One of the few creative building techniques left in the game that hasn’t been removed or banned.

So you can shoot through the maproom?

Or do you build it so the projectile spawns above the maproom when you shoot?

Well i don’t think that is the intended design so it could be considered an exploit because the devs want the treb to be open.

i think that trebs are way too weak so i understand why players are trying to close them at all cost.

It would be easier to bat in and destroy it , if your a solo player and have to stand there with arrows it’s going to be impossible.

If you own the Stygian treb you can replace straight away no wait on it upgrading

It can be destroyed yes with a counter treb or arrows/bombs but not everyone is ready for it.

If it’s not an exploit then fair enough I would use it too but no clarification, and the amount of spam reporters makes it questionable

Part of the top is exposed, you should never place on maprooms to get rid of them anyway, the HP is too high, always place underneath or to the side. Additionally, you could rest carefully on the crens and rotate place bombs all around them, that’s what I would do. Would probably blow the treb out on top of blowing most of the top off.

You don’t get chance to place bombs when 5 players pop out of the bottom of the map room and dagger spam you :sweat_smile:

There’s also lips on doors where you can rotate place. If you’re a solo dealing with this, gotta be creative.

If you had a clan, at least 2, 1 should be keeping the top scout busy and the other do bombing.

I would counter it with my own map room treb but i dont want to be banned again because some people still use report meta

I would try batting up to the top cren as close as you can, if you can manage it, or get to the top, spam cleansing brews or eat a heart of a hero, get your stam back then you might be able to climb down enough to get on the crens and pepper the hell out of the underside.

It’s p2w ,can’t wait till it comes to bizzare again, pocket trebs.. they blow one , you can put a base down straight away then add the Stygian frame that’s already made
